I knew a young man who had type 1 diabetes and whenever his diabetes was acting up he would make cinnamon toast and he would feel better .
Great! It's interesting to hear about cinnamon used as a complementary approach for diabetes management. However, for type 1 diabetes, where insulin is crucial, it's important to follow medical advice and view cinnamon as a potential supplement, not a substitute for treatment. Always consult a healthcare provider with such changes. Thanks for your input! 💚

What brands are Ceylon cinnamon?
@@JudgeJulieLit it should state that it is otherwise it's Cassie. I buy it by the pound at a health plus store. I have bought some at a BJ'S department store. Most brands in stores are imitation which are Cassie.
@@gilbertcammarn874 Thank you for that info. The Badia cinnamon I have been buying does not say on label which kind it is. At Amazon I found a few organic Ceylon brands, including Simply Organic in a 2 oz jar, and other brands that come in .5, 1, and 2 lb. bags. And Walmart carries Ceylon.
@@JudgeJulieLit excellent. Usually if it does not specify as ceylon then I assume it's Cassie. Glad this helps.

Elizabeth: I lost 30 lbs in 3 months while I was drinking cinnamon daily to balance long term blood sugar after my internist had not been able to balance it in 9 months with rx.
My internist said to stop because that rate of weight loss was too fast.
@@PossibleLifeLines That's quite an impressive and rapid weight loss, and it's interesting to hear that cinnamon was a part of your daily regimen during this time. However, your internist's advice to be cautious is important. Rapid weight loss can sometimes be a stressor on the body, and it's crucial to ensure that all changes to your diet or health routines are sustainable and healthy in the long term. It's always best to follow the guidance of your healthcare provider when it comes to managing blood sugar and weight loss. If cinnamon is something you enjoy and want to continue using, perhaps discussing a more moderate incorporation into your diet with your healthcare provider would be beneficial. Take care!
@@IncrediblyHealthy Comments are not relevant.
Cinnamon was the ONLY change I made in my routine. I givevit full credit. I was long sincecscientificallyvtrainedcto make only a single change are a time in order to isolate what was responsible for results.
I gave the standard Rx combo for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol about a 10 year trial. 8 years ago I rejected them all. I DON"T like drugs at all except essential antibiotics. I switched to hibiscus tea for blood pressure, cinnamon for blood sugar, and certainly beans and oats to clear cholesterol. Last monthbI finally got standard lab work done to test how well the dietary systemnisxachieving my goals.
All my lab worknresyltsxwrre spot on and superiority what had been previously achieved by Rx.
I was using a lot of turmeric through the pandemic. It caused a slower rate of weight loss. My actual theory about how my body recalibrate is that the dietary changrscI made addressed the underlying insulin resistance.
I am experimenting again now to determine whether one piece of fruit a day can not be included while keeping blood sugar normal.
I respect science. I believe necessary medicines are a good thing. However, I prefer a self regulated diet, if that produces healthy benchmarks. As long as I am able to produce the sought lab test results I am entitled to do that with foods rather than pills.
I live in a State where the actual law is thst people have a right to refuse medication.
I have good doctors. The problem is not with my medical team. They know how to look up herbal reactions. We are all professionals educated to about the same levels in our fields.
What I am curious about now is why I have not had any flu for 15 years. Flu shot effectiveness is 60%, so why have I gotten 100% effectiveness? For the first time in over 15 years, I am planning to go without a flu shot because I want to test the strength of my immune system. But most likely I will get a flu shot when icy weather arrives. Maybe the explanation is that I have no k-12 contact at present, and that the k-12 vextor used to account for getting flues
Now I know why I lost 30 pounds and did nothing different except for my son making coffee with cinnamon in it! Wow awesome brother! Amen and Amen 😮😊
Be nice if it would help with my cold.

What brands are Ceylon cinnamon?
There are TONS of brands. You just have to search for the word Ceylon. If it is ceylon, it will say so.
There are various brands that sell Ceylon cinnamon, which is known for being the "true" cinnamon compared to Cassia cinnamon. Some reputable brands you might look for include light brown color: amzn.to/461EmAv
I rode bicycle for 9 years straight in early recovery, I didn’t need to call in sick to work.
And remember, folks with liver disease must NEVER touch cassia cinnamon ! ( Per my Hepatologist )
Absolutely, and that's a very important point to highlight. Anyone with liver conditions should be very careful with the type of cinnamon they consume, as cassia cinnamon does contain higher levels of coumarins, which can exacerbate liver issues. It's always wise to follow the advice of your healthcare provider, such as your hepatologist, especially when it comes to dietary supplements and natural remedies. Thanks for sharing this crucial reminder with the community. Take care and stay healthy!💚

How,can I identify the right cinnamon
Hey there! Great question! Some tips to identify real Ceylon cinnamon:
- Look for thin, flaky, layered bark that resembles a croissant roll. Cassia bark is thicker.
- Ceylon has a tan-brown color compared to Cassia's dark brown.
- Ceylon has a subtle, sweet, citrusy aroma. Cassia smells stronger.
- Ceylon is more expensive due to rarity. Price can help indicate Ceylon.
- Check for the Sri Lanka Ceylon logo which certifies real Ceylon cinnamon.
- Ask your local spice seller - a reputable source should know the difference.
- Ceylon is sometimes labeled as "true cinnamon" as opposed to just "cinnamon."
I hope these tips help you identify and find real Ceylon cinnamon. Let me know if you have any other questions! 💚
Where do you buy Ceylon cinnamon?

I got mine from Amazon. It was Ceylon cinnamon.
Ceylon cinnamon, also known as "true" cinnamon, is often available at various grocery stores, health food stores, or specialty spice shops. You can also find it online through e-commerce platforms, where you might have a broader selection and the convenience of home delivery. 💚
I get reactive hypoglycemia, (low blood sugar). Would the Ceylon cinnamon tea make it drop more?
@lesleyf3049 Great question! With reactive hypoglycemia, cinnamon tea could potentially trigger low blood sugar for you. Best to consult your doctor first to assess if cinnamon is safe or could exacerbate your symptoms. Thanks for the thoughtful consideration.
Thanks, but how do you know if you are getting ceylon.. someone please let me know .. good information

I take cinnamon capsules .. just as effective
That's awesome!
Is the other cinnamon ok? I have the typical one in the shop . There’s no choice . Is it money wasted . I’m adding it to ginger tea. I add it to porridge and fruit .
The "typical" cinnamon you find in stores is usually Cassia cinnamon, which is perfectly fine for culinary use in moderation. Adding it to ginger tea, porridge, and fruit is a delicious way to enjoy its benefits. However, if you're considering higher doses for health reasons, particularly if you have concerns about liver health, it would be best to seek out Ceylon cinnamon, also known as "true" cinnamon, due to its lower coumarin content.
@@IncrediblyHealthy thank you very much for telling me these facts . Take care 💜

Can people with high blood pressure drink cinnamon tea?
Hi! Individuals with high blood pressure should consult their healthcare provider before regularly consuming cinnamon tea, as the effects on blood pressure may vary. While cinnamon is generally considered safe in moderation, personalized advice is essential, considering individual health conditions and potential interactions with medications.

Can you eat a cinnamon stick ?
It's not advised to eat or chew on a regular(cassia) cinnamin stick .( It is hard to chew, sharp pieces could break off & it is toxic to the liver in high doses.) It is Celon Cinnamin
You need to use. I've found it is hard to find in stores by me.( saw it once in my Kroger store here. I didn't buy it then, as didn't have enough money. Went back when I did & they didn't have it anymore!
. I've tried Walmart near me, but no luck. Haven't tried the Meijer store or the healthfood store near me yet.( the way the issues with the supply chain are, it could be hit or miss finding this.) And if I have to go to the one & only healthfood store near me, it's going to be ex spensive!!

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing pain. Pain in the chest or breast area, especially if it's near the heart, should be taken seriously. It's important to seek immediate medical attention, as it could be a sign of a serious condition like a heart problem. Take care!
Lol😂 that’s funny ask healthcare professionals first, they do not know about cinnamon. I’ve asked around the reaction is deer in the headlights response, never hearing and not knowing recommended amount or what it can be used to help.
Doctors are not taught anything about healthy food and natural remedies all they are taught is to give you a prescription. In my opinion, I think anyone talking about health needs to say,"Check with your health Provider" as a Disclaimer,LOL,,or else the Providers,or Powers that be,,will come after you if you don't..but that's just MY OPINION

Good information, but when you quoted the WHO as a source, your creditability was lowered. The WHO is now a political organization, not a good medical information source.
You are in a cult.
Amen..say it again 😢

Absolutely 🤔
Glad to see other people on here in the know
You lost me at The Who organization!
WHO organization is corrupt. It is now proposing amendments to its international health regulations that are unconstitutional. These regulations are not legally binding and no country will be able to object to its decisions in future.
Each country has to officially object to these regs or exit the WHO
now.
WHO will be unaccountable to anyone (if we do not protest now).
They are a dangerous organization
And one reason not to: High levels of oxalates!
So dang if drink it & dang if you don't?
I read a report that says the toxicity level in cassia cinnamon is what gives it it’s health benefits and that most research done so far was done with cassia cinnamon and that ceylon cinnamon, when compared to cassia, has almost no health benefits.
Thanks for bringing up that additional perspective. You make a fair point - it seems there are contradictory findings when it comes to potential toxicity levels and health benefits of Cassia versus Ceylon cinnamon. More research is likely needed to compare and clarify their effects. I appreciate you adding these details to provide viewers with a more complete picture. It's helpful for me to see where there may be nuances I missed in my presentation. Open discussions in the comments allow us all to gain a broader understanding of the evidence and considerations around using cinnamon. Please keep the insightful feedback coming!

Some studies have shown cinnamon can cause vasodilation and improve circulation, while others have suggested possible risks at high doses. Its important to consume it responsibly. Make sure to watch the side effects at the end of the video. Thank you.
