it’s not lost on me how much and constantly your cinematography and storytelling have evolved, I am in awe of your artistic expression, your discipline, your curiosity and desire to evolve, and not least the joy with which you approach anything.
I appreciate that you show and talk about the full process of getting to the end of such a project as it really gives a realistic insight of what it takes but also shows how truly rewarding such an experience can be, when you embrace it to its fullest. That’s what art is all about.

I usually go to a park nearby every morning to watch the sunrise and it is filled with reindeer.... somedays they don't show up but they do on other days... Your method from start to finish is perfection. But I lose momentum with a lot of steps. Since I'm older [46], and struggle with severe adhd, being present in the sketchbook phase only lasts for so long. You seem like you savor every single step and it's wonderful to watch. I feel the same.. I'm neurodivergent too and the sketching phase is the worst for me cause I'm a big perfectionist so when it doesnt turn out how I want, I get frustrated and end up erasing it and then put my sketchbook away. But once I actually get away from the sketching and to the painting, I don't lose focus.

Soooo cute 🥰 I love this and watching you paint him. I miss the snow. We used to have it every year when I was a child. Now, maybe once every other year or so do we get a real snow fall. This is definitely a 'memory as a character' idea. Well done.

Im glad you nade this video. I struggle with trusting the process. Ive been drawing about three + years and when i do non pencil art i get nervous about permanent and/ or semu permanent changes. Changes that arent easy to fix ot change.

It was the exact opposite for me. I can't watch videos where there is music going behind a person talking. I can't concentrate on what is being said and it physically makes me agitated. I had to skip this one, which is a shame because I normally can't wait for Jess' videos.

Lot of work goes into making things look both right AND good.
Beautiful. I love your art brain and now you can come up with these beautiful original pieces. I'm envious of that. Well envy isn't the right word, as you've spent years training yourself to be the best artist you can be, and opening up your imagination. I'm still learning and a little afraid of trying my own illustrations. I need more practice to get that confidence I think.
