the new is lighter by xx kg ? It's a big differernce for me to be top heavy. my 750gs is 222kg and top heavy for me; I can't see myself with 2 up riding on it. at 77 hp.
stock akrapovic is crazy, I think that's a first in motorcycling, at least for a base model

Great review. Does it come with a cruise control and tubeless wheels. Would love to see it against Tuareg 660 as it’s is a great bike off-road probably the best now with loads of options

What are the luggage options for the bike? I can see it has a kind of a “mushroom” pin on the sides of the subframe similar to the 900 r and 900 xr.
I was asking the same thing while filming the video. On the BMW Motorrad official website I'm unable to see any options at present. But we'll do some digging for you and get back to you asap. :) - Adam

Everything looks excellent, but the thing that i rely don't like it is small gas tank!
I don't know how can BMW do that mistake to put only 14.5L tank in such a bike !?
As with many adventure/enduro style models, the more off-road centred machines typically have a slightly smaller tank in order to keep weight and centre of gravity low. I'm aware there's some exceptions but BMW have definitely gone all out with this one. Thank you for watching. :) - Adam

What about the Ducati desert X 21L, KTM 890R 20L, Suqvarna Norden 901 19L, Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro 20L
BMW have to resolve this problam. Time will show that this is wrong.
Adventure model bigger tank
I’d like to see what the touring ability will be for this. Can we turn it into a the perfect balance between a mid weight and the 1300.
"Mid weight" this will never be, with only around 10kg less than the 1300gs. It is just a different bike: cheaper, doesn't have the most recent tech that the 1300g has, the engine is completely different, shaft vs. chain, etc. Still a wonderful bike. I'm considering it myself.
As with similar models from other brands the F 900 GS is made for tackling long distances as well as tougher terrain. We'll be getting this one out on the road for a long trip very soon - Adam
Is there a lot of deserts where you live?
Only a handful.
Again you're the second one I watched and nobody talks about the luggage what type of luggage hardpoint soft point optional luggage does it come with racks it doesn't look like it this is a bike that needs to have accessories with luggage for a single guy Adventure Rider and nobody talks about the factory or aftermarket accessory bags

Does this compete with Ducati Desert X ?
It definitely would compete with similar bikes such as the Desert X, Tenere 700, Aprilia Tuareg etc. These are made for tackling tough terrain across long distances. - Adam

Is it me or do BMW really mess up the model names? F850 is 900cc. F900 is 900cc. It started with the old F650GS which was an 800cc bike. Stupid is as stupid was!

if used the way it’s intended then that cat is going to get battered if it can’t be properly protected.
We didn't have any input in the design of this one I'm afraid. The bike however has undergone vigorous testing and feedback all seems to be great. - Adam
This isn't a review, just more hot air like all the other videos. There won't be a critical review until a journo actually rides the feckin thing. Anyway, I swung my (shortish) leg over one at the local dealership the other day and my initial thought from that was that in standard seat height, it was too tall for me and it felt very top heavy, a high centre of gravity. Its a lovely looking thing though, especially in the passion colour scheme.
