The mayor has shut down major streets in the French Quarter, including Bourbon Street. I'm a natural introvert, I can thrive in alone time and prefer it that way. Also, drinking alone in my safe house, I don't worry about driving home or getting my drink spiked at a bar/club. Can't imagine what being an extrovert is like.

As an introvert who lives in New Orleans, 2 years ago was the first time I actually went out to have fun during Mardi Gras...let's say I was overwhelmed lol. I was so ready to go home and sleep while everyone were partying til 2am.
I understand it was extremely necessary to cancel Mardi Gras this year, but I really feel bad for all those small businesses in the area. They make most of their money off of Mardi Gras.

@@grooge6047 there's already studies coming out of places that didn't take the precautions and still had the exact same number of cases. They should at least be able to have their businesses opened with social distancing practiced so they won't go bankrupt.

Listen I love Easter I love the meaning behind it but I rather celebrate it safely at home then risk by loved ones getting sick it’s just not worth the risk please think of someone other than yourself think of the people around you and if you want them to be around for the rest of your life
