Hi Joseph , nice review thank you! I`d like to ask if you applied any denoise in post production? I`m just asking because I`m planning to buy this microphone but from other reviews I heard definitely a noticable hiss sound , especially compared to Hollyland Lark M1 in Mark`s review. In your video this miicrophone sounded so clean without any hiss , when you heard the recording from this microphone for the first time did you realize any hiss sound on the background?
I just tested the denoise feature after this comment. It was hard to hear any difference in sound via the monitor. However, listening to the recording, I can hear the slight hiss (very faint hiss, they were in my recordings) noise is actually fixed my denoise feature. However, it introduced a bit of ups and downs on the voice (typical to AI noise cancelling) - I'd rather get the raw audio from the device and clean it in post for this level of denoising for studio setup. Perhaps for vlogging in very noisy environment, you can utilize this. The only time I've noticed significant amount of noise is actually monitoring the sound when the receiver was connected with my phone, but not recording. As soon as the phone starts recording, it goes away. It sounded like electrical static noise, and I think it is just because the phone is feeding some voltage to it. As you heard on my video, you just don't hear that on the actual recording. I hope this helps!
@@JosephKim Thanks a lot Joesph! I think I will go for the Comica in this case because simply the receiver is much better compared to Hollyland , especially seeing sound levels on the receiever end helps a lot. Thank you for this informative video again , I wasn`t aware of your channel before. Subscribed immediately, have a great day!
I just got mine today and was testing it. Could not get it working with the standard camera software that came with my Android (OnePlus). Your video showed confirmed the right cables so I knew it should be working. I found a forum that suggested another camera app called Open Camera and it lets you manually select your microphone which worked great and solved my problem. Disclaimer: I can't say for certain that the original camera software wouldn't work. I just couldn't figure out how to do it. Thanks for a great video! Appreciate the time.
I am having the same issue and I downloaded Open Camera and it is still not working after I switch the audio settings. The receiver is picking up the mic sound but my phone isn't. Is it possible I just have a bad adapter?
It would basically be the same as the BoomX-D2. Whilst it is smaller form factor, the clip doesn't line up with the holes exactly. I'd suggest getting BoomX-D2 if you are only getting it for X3.
@JosephKim Hello, & thank you for the video. I have a co host so the set will work perfect. If I want my guest to have the same wireless microphone and recording all 3 of us live how would I do that and also connect it to my andriod phone to record?
Hi. I ran 10 different tests to connect to my iPhone 14 Pro and for the life of me I can’t get playback on Cinematic or on Zoom. The only sound I get is from the iPhone mic. I tried walking 26-30 feet away, but no success. I followed wiring instructions. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?!

I'm glad you worked it out! Some recording app simply does not take external mics. So, I think that is the case.

I just saw it in their official shop on lazada. Maybe you can search it on lazada app.
I got mine from Lazada, but I think it was imported from China
Good video informative, I feel it's a basic wireless microphone

Wondering about how this might pair with the Insta360 X3. Thanks for this video.

I have not tried on iPhone. I know you just have to pick the correct mic source.
Hey Joseph, do I need to buy a convertor ofr my iPhone or can it connect through an iphone charger hole?
I don't recall if I had the lightening cable. Sorry.
how can this mount to a camera if it's only a clip/flip
The clip can be inserted to the hot shoe mount on your camera ;)
