I feel like as an interviewer when you can see that your guest is struggling to express himself in English you should switch to vernac or at the very least mix English with vernac. He probably would have opened up.more had he been speaking his home language
I agree, this was a miss. He usually gets it right though
Exactly, he should be in the interviewees mind.
My point exactly
Truth
To see a Star fallen to this Level is so touching honestly.
One positive thing I take from Lerato is that .. uncle" Good enough " spirit lives on😂😂😂
God bless this dude. It's not easy to be in such a situation. Ppl are quick to judge, but we need to be sympathetic
Well said!
Pls help him with a job i beg
You will be alright abuti Lerato, sometimes as ppl we HV to hit rock bottom to really appreciate life..but you will come back stronger..my prayers with you always 🙏❤️
Indoda ingawa namhlanje ksasa iphindi'vuke
Stay strong hang in there big hommy
I would like to thank Justice for giving Lerato a chance to share his story and I strongly believe that Lerato will bounce back because he is brave enough to tell his story regardless of his situation 😍😍😍😍
This one is a tough one ..childhood hero..brilliant soccer player ..I hope something good comes out of this
Even at his low this guy can still say I can't identify who was a bad friend and have saw everyone as a friend, this guy have a big heart ♥,God help him to get back up again its my prayers.🙏
😢 it's so sad that the best guy who used to be arrogant inside and outside the field has fallen this much...he was the best and he knew that while he was still on pic time. Now we as South Africans we can help him as junior khanye everybody deserve second chance in life. Thank you for the best interview i feel like was scared to open up like guy's who used to have fun and blew money with alcohol and girl's so that young ones who were the interview could understand who is all you need is love and why he down and out and the dangers of girls and alcohol when you have lot's of money. I think he was advised by someone not to disclose everything on social media because it might become more negative on him, i don't say that what happened but I'm just speculating from the way he put his story on the table...he was not opened at all but it's life and he will revive and come back to life🙏🏾
Ur strong my brother. . U wouldn't do interviews if u wer not. . May God give you more life n wisdom 🙏 🙌
Financial discipline is key
Well said.
Financial discipline should be taught in school first, then it makes it easier for us to know how to handle money when you make it in life. Not everyone it's good with their finances and even now people are careless with money and you will realise later that everything it's gone.. we focus too much on fun instead of investing & it's not easy when you famous, even if you not famous. Let's stop judging each other until it happens to you, then you will feel that pain alone😢
I'm heart broken to see a well known star in this situation, I'm so so heartbroken 😭
cant finish watching this, ubulalisa inhliziyo
These current players of today. Its them who should sacrifice a lil R5000 man of the match and put it in a trust for him. Not us ordinary folk. We can't be expected to help a former millionaire when we havent even seen a million
My heart bleeds for this man, may he have strength and blessings.
God bless Lerato Amandla Awendoda Awapheli❤
His story is touching but also worth leason learning for everyone. i just wish Motsepe and Sundowns are listening and can create even a junior position to include him in the coaching staff. One thing i learned about his interview is not just the good English but also the ability to apply some knowledge when answering questions. This qualities can still add to revise his life, but only if he himself can apply self decipline including the Godliness i heard him mentioned few times in the session. Believe in God and the future brother. Thank you (JUSTIFY) for bringing his story out.
Ah this interview would’ve landed in vernac 😫
Lerato ijita 👊🏾
Life is sad. From riches to rags.Gid bless u G
He appeared on one of the episodes on I blew it...there he explained a little how he lost everything.
Lerato does not want to say what actually went wrong?
Yeah u can just tell he's uncomfortable when opening up about how his career took a nosedive
God bless you my brother you were very talented my brother you will rise again 😢😢😢
What God gives you (lerato) nobody can take it from you n please get well ...🙌🏽
I pray you get a job,love and light❤
All will be well
All we need is love😢
Keep ur head up bro everything will be ohk just trust the process God is always trustworthy
I have never been this lost😩😩😩😩. I didn’t even finish it
but the story of him gets told a lot, and everywhere in every platform...to the podcasters, what new thing do they seek to discover from him??...his story is documented everywhere you go, enough about the guy, konele ngoku...
The point isn't how many times it's told, it's how many people it reaches. Some people don't like a certain podcaster so they probably won't or didn't see that interview but because they like this one they'll get to hear his story for the first time. Some interviews are longer so they get more information from him. An interviewer may ask even one new question that others didn't ask.
Also some of this podcasts are all about creating exposure and opportunities for him and maybe giving him something for bread after the interview
May God bless 🙏🏽
You can see the regret and pain in his eyes
This guy must try to volunteer to coach in schools, someone is bound to recognize him.
Cant south africans help this guy. He was a good player
This guy he keep on running to the question unlike the story of junior khanye with Marawa
critics can only build you lerato i dnt think there is another downfall than this ,the only way now is to clime up. just know its never too late bro❤
Yhoo impilo ibuhlungu kodwa God promise us to hv a second chance 🙏 i feel ure pain vuka uzithintithe no one is better sonke sinamaphutha im glad wena ure brave uphume ucele usizo thn ongakhulumi ocabanga ukuzibulala uma enenkunga God is with u
Ngemphela kuzolunga ngeyinye Imini, Impilo injalo
But Lerato doesn't want to tell us what went wrong
This interview is giving him hard times due to the language but what I would say atleast he did ever test the soft life and he got the leesson but he still need support system😢😢
I lost all my contracts and my favourite sport car and in deabt with Sars and everyone who was closed disappeared.....but guess what ? I have started something again but is not easy..
Best Channel
There's nothing tangible about his story mn all I hear is blahs blah blah entertainment industry alot of things are happening without explaining what exactly happened to him
He keeps running away from a question of like what was happening
I can understand why he's reluctant because even another person who do the same
Can maybe any team from PSL gives lerato a job. Maybe to teach young once in how to handle fame and money
Junior Khanye was a boy to Lerato Chabangu this guy was massive mara life happens money needs to be manage 50 million or R10 it doesn't mater it needs a management...
What happened to him
😭😭😭.
Sometimes i think some guests should be allowed to speak comfortably in their language so they can be able to narrate their story according
This guy should stop feeling sorry for himself and man up and start a podcast where he can interview old and new players in mzanzi analyse games. Come on man.
The way he's breathing, you can tell this was a difficult interview for him. The host made it difficult with his good English.
Oh man the guy look very sad
Man you must go to Western Cape and start your life there is very good province to start your life now if your are still looking for help from your family you are waisting your time
But you didn’t not tell your personal story of what really happened, yet you wish to start a Foundation. How are u doing to empower youngsters.
Its not girls ,Drug boy ,Drugs will end your life
Lindo, many factors contribute to such ,it starts with fame, money, girls, friends ,booze, then drugs ,from that stage wheels are off
Kahlekahle what happened to this hero??????
This guy he's really in pain.
You can see him on the face.😢
Let's help
Yeah it's written on his face, hope that he finds a job and get back on his feet
Hard to feel sorry for folks who blow cash on Slay Queens and izifebe.... Coz we want the money he haf.
This guys interviews are so vague we don't even know what he went to do at Chelsea and Italy he doesn't know how to structure questions
Justice is not a soccer aficionado like you and me. Plus this is his interview style! He is not MaGc or David Mashabela.
I feel like I am in a memorial service 🤦🏾♂️
Maybe you shouldn't watch this guys interviews lol negative people
I feel sad about my dude.
Question is are you still drinking.
He was drunk on this Interview.
LoL why not seku late vele
Why is sundowns not helping why- i mean this guy is from them he played for them the most now where is the motsepe family,we always here Rulani says the family helps the poor, where are they now or maybe they only help to make the returns.
We feel 4 him ""but these guyz never learn""He probably earned double or 3 times what I will earn in my life time during his career ""How do I bring my emotions to get to feel for him""As hard as it feels ""he made his bed ""he has to lay on it""
You my brother are what they classify as a sociopath. Don't worry though it's not your fault, you were born that way.
It's easier said than done mate
Quit Alcohol its been your downfall and still is.
its not easy asyou think
Please don't judge!
This thing of Foundation won't help him maybe if he get chance to contribute in football and paid every month
The person who introduced drugs to this guy really hate him, from earning R300000. 00 per month. Can the clubs introduce human behavior and financial management, or force players to save a position of their income and pay them an allowance when out and down.
This interview is useless, this guy is not honest,no question he answered,we want to know how he lost everything so we can help but he's hiding not ready to accept
