Join me as I stretch my comfort zone a little further by Competing a New (to me) Horse for the very first time having only ever sat on him once for all of ten minutes!!
Well done to you breaking out of your comfort zone. That was a huge challenge which you aced. I'm sure Banksy is just as proud of his Mummy and is happy to share, until he is fit and ready to be ridden again. Also riding other horses will do you so much good as well ❤😊

Tina, so happy for you! Having these experiences for learning is a fantastic opportunity! Some minor thoughts, though…your stirrups length would work better at just a touch longer - it will help ride less “in the hand” to seek out your balance and it’s better for your horse because he’s receiving more communication from the seat and he’s able to get better, lighter contact - because the horse is attempting to deliver more contact. Great job, hoping to see more of these videos! ❤🎉🦄
Baby steps turn into huge gallop strides before you know it. Proud of you Tina. Totally different mind set from normal routine (no trailer, missing half your tack, unfamiliar horse) and it all seemed to run smoothly except for the keys 😂 always has to be one wrench in the mix to keep you on your toes 😊 you looked like you enjoyed both tests so positive day. What a great day you all had! So sweet to see Wish watching his buddy and being such a good boy staying quiet while Wallace did his test. Also when Wish told Wallace to back off and his owner hardly even glanced up....totally used to the dynamics of her lovely boys 🤣
Thoroughbreds are such a different horse to ride.. but also an amazing ride. Well done on handling him so well, I am in love with Thoroughbreds now but the feeling like they just want to go forward and learning how to control that is exactly what I have been learning with Hugo. Great work, well done.
Again, such a joy to watch you out and having fun being a horsey person.

Was fun to watch. As much as we love watching you ride Banksy, and hope to see you out competing on him for another decade, he is getting older. It is good for you as a rider to try out different types of horses, in different situations. Then when (way in the future) Banksy retires you will not feel totally lost on different horses.

your giving me so much motivation to push myself ive just broken in my baby and have hit a wall of no motivation and no want to do anything anymore but this is amazing, truly what riding is about is pushing ourselves and experiencing enjoyment 💕

Oh, Tina, well done, lovely. Going out there and doing a dressage test on a horse, you literally sat on the day before for 15 minutes. Can I just say, "That just shows you what a good jockey you are! You are definitely too down on yourself at times, " but we are all guilty of that. When you got emotional, I filled up myself. I definitely felt that emotion from you. You did good girlie well done! Be proud of yourself! Everyone else is!
Oh by the way - did I hear right? Is wish for sale? Weren't you after another horse 🤔 you looked brilliant together! Just saying... 😊
Getting on and immediately competing a strange horse does WONDERS for your riding skills/confidence. in the second test when they say more consistent I think they just want your reins a couple inches shorter to steady them a bit more. Its a little nitpicky but it is the job to be nitpicky

Well done you for pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. A win is a win, I went to my first show in 20 years a while ago and came third, what I didn't tell people was that i got bucked off in front of the judge and then my boy wouldn't stand still for me to get back on so I left lol but as there was only 3 in the class they gave me the rosette - I think they felt sorry for me. Keep up the good work and you will soon be back on Sir Banksy and getting those rosettes on him xx

Why do they shout out the program? in Denmark we need to remember it ourself. That's more fair, i would say.
@@katywelsh2447it’s not unusual, in British Dressage and unaffiliated shows you can have it shouted out
At the lower levels (this is intro, the lowest level) you're allowed to have someone call it.
@@abbiehughes486 you can have it called at any level in BD. It’s just the higher up you get, the less people you see having tests called.

A bit of constructive criticism, your intros are too long and you talked over Lee all the time after your mum asked her a question. I know you were excited about the show but I felt bad for her.
