I don’t think it was as detrimental to radio stations as it was album sales. People were starting to get sick of paying 20-25$ bucks a cd. What a rip off! Adjusted for inflation that has to be around 30 bucks a pop for one tiny piece of plastic

James Brown is a wonderful man. I was scheduled to fly out of Augusta, GA to my duty station in Korea in 1999. It snowed that morning for the first time in many years that morning and caused my flight to be delayed and later cancelled. While waiting to see what was going to happen with my flight a gentleman with a gorgeous woman on his arm strolled in, it was James Brown. I approached him to just see if it was him and he noticed me and spoke. When he found out I was a soldier he asked me to sit and we talked as 2 normal people for almost an hour. Meant the world to me!
This shows how good of an interviewer Nardwuar is. He's nervous, you notice, and so would I be. But he's still so composed and honorful. Can't believe I've never seen this one, thought I had seen them all.
