Exactly. She so fuckin horrible. She contradicts herself and doesn't even remember what the witnesses say. Barely objected to anything. Barely asked questions of the witnesses. She was just there going through the motions to get a paycheck.

He was running so fast he probably didn't know he had dropped it until he was back to his vehicle. Went back in searching blindly using his phone light for over an hour!!!!! Couldn't find the gun!!!
@doctordef324 Yeah!! At 1 point during his interviews the cops were stating he used his gun for a flashlight since he had a light in it. If that is the case he didn't he know he dropped his gun?

I thought she would have gone with no concrete proof. It's obvious he did it but a lawyer that knows law could have got him off and just said he's a knucklehead and careless yes but no proof of being a killer. She placed him at the crime scene where his weapon was found 🤣🤣🤣. And said it wasn't him though. And of course he followed the case? Why not get her help if he knew she was still alive.

Her opening statement suggested he would take the stand and explain his involvement in her demise did not amount to murder or manslaughter. His decision to not take the stand changes all that.

This is the clearest case of ineffective counsel. There was so much circumstantial evidence that she proved, but should’ve casted doubt. This was horrible. If you’re innocent take the stand to save yourself. I would never put my life in her incapable hands.

Payed to to do zero work on defense. This is a common occurrence in public defenders office. Payed and no time spent preparing a defense for defendants.😮😮😮😮
She is not a public defender. She is a private attorney with her own practice. So she got paid a lot of money to just hang out in the courtroom cause she ain't do shit but help argue the state's case for them.

I am trying to understand her closing argument. I don't think she created reasonable doubt. He was a police officer and had expert knowledge on what not to do to implicate himself. But as that detective stated, everything pointed to him.

This defense attorney did a better job prosecuting her client than the prosecutors.
so if we were to give her argument any credence he would be guilty of: providing a minor with illicit drugs contributing to her death, falsifying a theft report, abuse of corpse (disposal of the body), lying to investigators/obstruction, tampering with evidence, accessing police sites and methods in furtherance of crime.
I'd add if the other case was properly investigated, he'd also be guilty of stalking and B&E as well.
