Question: I can't find a answer to this online maybe you know...
I disabled my tile on the headphones but it still gives off a signal when off. I'm not sure if it's a Bluetooth feature I don't know about.
Are they still working for you did they break? I read reviews that they’re flimsy.

After watching other teardowns, evolution of Crushers looks like this:
- 2014: additional big dynamic driver for bass
- Wireless/360 - metal spiral driver
- EVO - less spiral and more solid plate driver (also hidden behind board presumably to fix rattle defect of wireless/360 ?)

You have to have patience for the That type of tear-down work. I’ve taken many types of headphones apart for repair or just to see how they operate. The tricky part is making sure ALL the components align back to their proper spots. Nice job!
That was cool as hell! Now I finally know how they made the most scull rattling headphones (so far)!!
Btw guys, if your crusher evos are not pairing, press and hold both volume buttons for at least 10 seconds, past the point where it goes into pairing mode, until it shuts off.

I have two Pioneer headsets I use for work. Both had something fall apart inside it. Didn't even have them 2 months. Instead of trying to pull off an RMA right when the pandemic started, I opened them found the piece that feel out, and also added some extra padding to it. It's worth doing, but not for the faint of heart. Great video. I like the way they put a simple magnet motor that simple vibrate off the bass.

The haptic driver is essentially an electro magnet driven probably by mosfet connected to the rheostat slider and another either power transistor that is then connected to a chip to filter the bass out of the audio coming in to "drive" the haptic driver to beat to the bass rather than just raw audio signal

There's a thing that some simracers use called a Buttkicker, which is kind of like a subwoofer but it moves mass instead of air, maybe it's like that but on a smaller scale.

Retired my Crusher wireless after 4 years of use. They still work like a charm but I accidentally dropped them recently and the left cup broke off. Had to tape them up😢. Currently have the Evo on order so I should be getting them soon, can't wait!!

The haptic motor makes the vibrations and if you turn the bass slider all the way up it vibrates very vigorously on your ears.

If I had to take a wild guess of how the haptic feedback works the two wires hooked up to the magnet change or increase the polarity causing the springboard above it too pull towards it and then releases the springboard causing the vibrate

Maybe you can open Bluedio Victory to see all 12 drivers and the touch panel, and I about the battery wires, black is ground, red i positive and the yellow is probably control wire about how full is the battery or something like that, I'm just guessing about that yellow wire. how do you use the crusher evo with a pc? when i plug in the cable and turn the headphones on it starts buzzing like crazy but doesnt buzz when turned off but when turned off it doenst have the same amazing haptic bass (still good bass doe). do you think i should buy a bluetooth dongle so i can use it turned on with the haptic bass? i want to try that first before getting a new headset for my pc would be nice if i could just use the evos instead beceause the sound is amazing and ill probably be dissapointed with other headphones xd
I can see where crusher could go now and I hope they do: crusher wired where nice at the time really nice actually, sound wise, bass frequency response was lost somewhere in 120 hertz then the crusher wireless came to the rescue with 7db above bass elevation (too much) and responding up to 100 hertz but they felt off, kind of wierd bcause all bass was kind of the same, an now evos got lower but not responding other frequencies as consistent as the wireless, A good step would be to figure out how to reproduce this frequencies using the taptic bass (vibrating at the same rate as bass) to be more acurate, natural , linear and leave the db neutral without eq or at least a harman kardon curve tomake sound as clear as possible and still have all that bass range and the adjustable slider, Crusher Evo are almost there the wirless asthetics are awesome.
That was funny when you put them on within the ear pads. 🤣

just one tip though. Maybe try increasing the volume of your voice. It's a little jarring in the transitions and music and I always have to adjust the volume. cool vid though

Mindblowing bass. No words. The best one. While testing, my friends were laughing because they couldn't believe it is real. Next level bass.
Battery is insane for a budget headset like this which also have a massive bass response. With volume at 60% and bass slider at 20%, I'm sure I got at least 50 hrs of playback time in my first cycle, and that's really insane for me. Right now I'm in my second cycle. Really enjoying the product.
Only thing is, I don't want to face any complaint in 2 years which can't be dealt (if any) with warranty. I want this to last at least 2 years peacefully. Then I will be 200% satisfied with the purchase.

Probably the biggest issue with Skullcandy is I can't find shit for information regarding replacement parts or even a diagram for them to know what the parts are. My crusher anc2's are over warranty and quite worn.
