SIDARI BEACH NOT like INSTAGRAM SHOWS YOU

My second time visiting Sidari at different times of the year. In this video it's nearing the end of April. I spoke with locals who either resided, or worked in Sidari, and asked about the state of the beach and who was responsible for the cleaning of the beach. As I walked along there were remains of bonfires with tables and chairs charcoaled left on the beach, nails, metal draw runners, and metal brackets all sat amongst the once lit fire.
Does this beautiful beach look like this in the season months? I doubt that it does.I spoke with a restaurant member of staff and was informed that any restaurant, bar, and cafe owner is responsible for keeping clean that part of the beach where their businesses sat. This information put my mind at rest.
As we were leaving the Island more businesses were starting to clean up with pressure washers blasting, painting, ready for the May holiday makers.
Such a beautiful location with friendly locals, and restaurant, bar owners. I had the choice of four restaurants plus my own accommodation restaurant. Still worth a visit in April yet do not expect a lively atmosphere.

A little stroll along Sidari Beach up to the Port. Stopped off for a drink at the Beach House restaurant for a drink, they also do tasty dishes! Made sure I ate at the few restaurants that were open to support them all. Wonderful locals, great views. Enjoy ❤

We go to sidari every 6 months, they are still in cleaning, you are there too early, not a lot has opened up. If you arrive in the middle of May, you will see them raking the beach every morning and bleaching the sides of the street. As you can see from your footage, everything is stacked up still and the owners still haven't arrived from the mainland where they live from October until April

We Have Been Going Every Year For The Last 9 Years, The Beach Isn’t Like This In Season, They’re Raked Daily And Kept Clean.
