This piece was originally written for an Erhu player, Chen Min (陳敏), who has been active both in China and Japan. Erhu is a Chinese traditional musical instrument, a two-stringed bowed instrument. The piece "Garnet Star" was recorded and included in her album, "Koigoromo (恋衣)" released in 2005.
Live recording at 京都府民ホール・ALTI, Kyoto
The composer arranged it for solo piano and performed it at the solo concert.
