Its a nice review..i have been facing a issue it shows PTC in receiver and audio reducing by itslef at some regular intervals.. can u help me resolve it..I have tried even reset the device .. pls

If you value Atmos, take the Pioneer. Else, the Yamaha, it has better 8” subwoofer and front usb port. Everything else seems to be almost similar between these two.

Is virtual atmos woth it ? Any better than traditional 5.1
Pragya Richhariya I am not using virtual atmos. My setup is 3.1.2. It it using virtual surround instead. Atmos is good, although limited titles are available in some online streaming platforms.

I have HD TV with 2 HDMI and 1 ARC (no optical cable connection) and with HD set up box with hdmi and optical connection. Now recently I brought a av receiver with 1 arc hdmi and 4 hdmi connection with optical connection. I don't know how to connect. Please help me.

You can connect the hdmi out of the receiver to you arc connection on your TV. The HD set top box can be connected to any one of the 4 hdmi ins.
Both HTP-076 and HT-3910 are same. Rebranded accordingly. Pioneer is now under Onkyo brand.

How we get dolby atmos effect in this
If your source is encoded in dolby atmos, it will be detected and receiver will switch to Atmos if your setup is 3.1.2.
3.1.2 means height speakears
Yes. But if your setup is 5.1, you will get Dolby Atmos height virtualization. Virtual Atmos only.
We have to get separate dolby atmos enabled speakers right
My setup is 3.1.2, I used the 2 rear speaker as Atmos/Height speaker. It works well. I placed the height speakers around 2 meters above the front left & right speakers. Angled downwards facing the listener.
