⚠️ Nail-biting level: HIGH
The heart-stopping moment Cornelia and Eli find themselves in danger.
Two strangers are drawn together in a violent landscape built on dreams and blood in America, 1890. The English is an epic tale of love, revenge and power starring Emily Blunt and Chaske Spencer.

That was definitely an excellent scene Cannot express just how great this series is 5 stars 2 thumbs up 👍 Both lead actors do an excellent performance 🎭 Best western ever !! Hopefully they both win awards They both deserve Oscar’s in my opinion
Best indeed 👌🏼
This show destroyed me. I love it.
Watched on BBC and iplayer and ordered the dvd. Each time I watch it I see something I missed. The chemistry between Cornelia and Eli is tangible, the accuracy of detail commendable, the story telling fast, the photography beautiful in choice and scenery. It wrecks me emotionally each time but watching the strength in Eli and Cornelia is so refreshing, very few times do you see strength and tenderness go so well together. if this does not win an award what's the point in having them.
Well said ...even though I thought Eli could have turned up to watch the cowboy and indian show...was he still alive ..did I miss a hint?
Not sure Cornelia told Eli, I'm hoping it makes a sequel that the circus goes back to America and White Cloud finds him, only a wish. Think a reunion would completely break me.
Please, share where you bought your DVD. All I can find are really poorly done Chinese knock offs.
I realize BBC need to pull people to see the show, so they cut the very best part of this scene, which is Eli and White Moon's mother exchanging warcries from afar, and the decisions that follow. From the urgency to the emotions to the music, and the sudden credit roll that follows... majestic.
I noticed to after this scene Eli you don’t see his Army tunic worn and starts wearing his traditional garments
This was a great series don’t miss out
it is actually a beautiful show, very beautiful stories. In these day with so much production, this one stands out.I'm not amazon haha
I can't help but watch this scene over and over again despite gripping the edge of my seat in fear and anticipation every time. The cinematography is beautiful, the emotions are raw and intense, and the action is gripping. This is a heartbreaking example of people engaging in violent action towards innocent people because of boredom and a tyrannous sense of entitlement, and innocent people getting caught in the cross-fire because of it. This is a truly explicit example of the brutality of that time period. Both Touching Ground's and Eli's cold assassination are unbearably gripping and so justified: brutality and violence can only be answered with cold emotionless brutality. The cinematography of that part just intensifies this so beautifully.
This show is excellent, I hope it wins many BAFTAs and Golden Globes.
The old with wasn't exactly like we think it will with Roy Rogers and s***when Clint Eastwood start the making his spaghetti western John ring wrote him a letter and said you son-of-a-b**** if I ever see you back in a minute I'm going to punch your lights out you know why because John Wayne didn't like the real brutality of how the West really was the director Sergio Leone he got his research from talkin to Western scholars and historians and you were reading letters and stuff that was translated for him in Italian and how the West really was not the way they show it on TV with Roy Rogers and all that b******* people wrote letters back in them days of how brutal it really f****** was. And one more thing they were writer that came out there to research the the West. And they would always interview people in this s*** and they were told the brutality or how things really would be
I love the way Eli and Cornelia bicker like an old married couple about the amount of money Cornelia has in her saddle bags! A a truly majestic series with hauntingly beautiful performances from Emily and Chaske. You just know Eli and Cornelia are destined to meet again, 'in the stars'. 🌌
It's the next 60 seconds of this scene that are what make it truly powerful. What is included is good. What follows in the show makes it great.
Yes! The war cries were hauntingly powerful.
What a wonderful, wonderful series. The most perfect actors for every part. I love this series. Looking for a Good DVD now (hard to find one). I want to be able to watch it any time I want.
great show 👍
Damn just finished watching this episode, now that was truly epic. Very tense action scene and the war cries were great
this is the symbolic son of Eli & Cornelia
What a beautiful thought. White Moon is proud of his true lineage, but his actions as an adult clearly demonstrate that he loves Eli and Cornelia as family too. 💗
The Lonesome Dove homage here….i love it
Awesome !
I want a Season 2 showing where Eli went and what became of him, but, don't think I could handle him dying.....I absolutely adored him in this.
It's a serious comment on the general hideousness caused by humanity without humanity
The tension watching that was almost unbearable
Gotta laugh at the way they watch the shot hit and then duck behind the dead horse 😂
Aw man you cut it short at the best part.
Next on BBC One:
BBC News - 19:00
BBC Sport - 19:30
BBC Weather - 19:40
Right in the middle - 20:00
So to let Hollywood & BBC know there are no mountains in Kansas and Nebraska. I constantly see this in movies & TV.
My interest is the showing the tension of the shooting. They are stuck out there with only between the shots. "wait he's lying on his back..." which was done, maybe still done.
Where can I watch this
BBC or iplayer....

Why won't CZcams allow first part of this scene when the white man explains what it took to "submit our people" really! CZcams won't allow that part???
How is this not CRT?
I wanted to see this movie, but I am so tired of reliving, and reliving racism, when we are so, so much better than we were at this time and the fifties too.
This show is so much more than that! You should give it a try. It’s really beautiful.
Lol, currently 11 comments on this video, and 6 are clearly Amazon pretending to be real viewers!
How do you know?
I got that too
