Thanks for posting, I bought a Slash a couple years ago that was used but had some upgrades I noticed a few configurations i didn't like so started working on but never finished and have never driven it! Thanks for the motivation!
Very cool build man! I've owned many slashes and have only done mild upgrades but after watching your build now I wanna go all out as well! Only difference would be I would do a monster slash with all of your upgrades. Nice running video as well that Nose picker/flip at 7:40 was EPIC !!!!
Quick tip. If you want to remove that clanking sound after you jump, put some body washers in there. It stiffens up the body so it doesn’t sound like the thing is smashing after each jump
He said “it’s not really as fast as I’d like” Meanwhile I’m sitting here with a old, run hard put away wet, same remote as the original truck that he used (back when it was brand shiny new) looking at his ZIP down the straight, and throw dirt and dust 6-10ft when he squeezed the trigger.. just in awe of what he made here… now I’m on Amazon ordering parts I DONT NEED but feel like I do because of this video, so thanks for the inspiration, but my wallet and poor spending habits want to have some words for you later 😂

$2k?! Ive got less than $400 in my used hcg slash that runs the erevo 2.0 power system. Durable as all hell! Battery wise, take out that hold down bar, latch and swivel, and use a dremmel to carefuly cut some slots in the ribs on both sides of the battery tray just big enough to fit the Velcro straps of your choice through. Mine hits 35ph on 2s and 55mph on 6s before she leaves the ground. No clue how fast it really goes, lol.

U should put a dusty motors cover to help the inside stay clean, but overall this is a nice looking truck! Keep up the great work!

Robinson Racing gen 3 slipper is better than traxxas one, and somebody makes a battery strap kit to replace the hold down
