I pressed the hidden button on the new BFT remote when instructed then pressed the desired button but unfortunately the display keeps showing 'ko' so kept trying starting from the beginning but to no avail. Thanks for sharing and I have a similar question to one below, I have a gate with 2 elements and the original remote left button would open both elements and the right button would open only the right gate element. So how do I program the right button without overwriting the left button function that would of been then programmed via the routine displayed in your clip. In a nutshell how do I program both buttons on a single remote in conjunction with a dual gate operated by a single controller? thanks...
To do this the button that you want to open both gates together you would go to the Radio Menu and select Add Start and go through that process to work both gates. Then for the other button to work just one gate; when you go to the Radio Menu hit the minus (-) button one time and select add Ch 2 and go through that process and select the other button to open just the one side of the gate.

I have problem with the remot. For open the gate using remot is working normaly, but when i want to close the remot using the remot is not working and there is "Er 35" Every time i press the button for close the gate
Er35 is an obstruction error, if there is no obstruction in the way you may need to increase the force setting. If you like send us an email at Tech@bft-usa.com and we can either give you a call or send instruction on how to increase it.

There are 2 ways you can do this 1st. turn off the automatic closing and use the remote to open and close the gate and 2nd. if you need to keep the automatic closing turned on then right when it starts to close press the remote button to stop the gate.
I have an ultra gate opener and 3 of the remotes I have are now dead. So if I buy the bft gate remotes that look exactly like mine on Amazon, would I be able to reprogram to make the gate work ont he ew remotes? Thanks
If you search for BFT Mitto 2 or 4 something should pop up and those should work ok as long as you follow the video instructions. But you might want to try replacing the remote batteries (A23). If the red light comes on when you push the button after replacing batteries try to reprogram remote.
You would simply repeat the process in this video with each gate operator control board. Just make sure, when you get to Minute 1 second 49 of this video, you are selecting a different button per operator.

My remote is MITTO 4 for three doors since our garage is on 3 levels, so it uses 3/4 buttons - hold by one operating device can I program it somehow to work the same as my primary one? Should I program the buttons one by one or it doesn't work like that? Thank you in advance
I am unsure of what your asking but each button can be programmed to a different control board. If you like you can email us at tech@bft-usa.com for more help
This will only work with our BFT Products. If you would like to use Multicode remotes you will have to also purchase a wired in Multicode receiver and program to that.

ER 36 is an obstacle detection during the closing cycle. Make sure your gate is closing with no issues when you push the gate manually. If there is nothing impeding the movement of the gate try to raise the torque in the "Parameters" menu. Does this work with the generic multicode remote or does it need to be mitto remote? (Trying to use a universal remote for garage and gate)
