Way 1: How to Retrieve Your Deleted Notes from "Recently Deleted Folder"
There are two direct ways to retrieve your deleted notes based on how they went missing from your iPhone. The first one is through restoring it straight from the “Recently Deleted” folder of the Notes application. To recover them from this folder, follow the steps below.
    1. Open the Notes application from your iPhone and go straight to the “Recently Deleted” folder.
    2. Locate all the previously deleted notes that you want to be retrieved.
    3. Click the “Edit” option located on the top-right corner of your screen to trigger multiple selections.
    4. Begin selecting the notes you want to retrieve.
    5. After the selection, click the “Move To…” option.
    6. Choose one from the available folders in the Notes application where you wish the notes to be moved.
    7. After selecting the folder, the selected notes will be recovered and will be stored in that folder.
Way 2. How to Recover Deleted Notes on iPhone iCloud Backups
No recently deleted notes folder on iPhone? How to recover permanently deleted notes on iPhone? Another procedure to do is to retrieve the last backup of your device that you have made to iCloud.
    1. Go to iCloud.com and sign-in to your account.
    2. After signing in, go to Settings (it is represented by the gear icon).
    3. Scroll down to the bottom part of the page until you see the “Advanced” section on the bottom-left corner. This section has options for restoring different files such as notes, contacts, calendar events, reminders, and bookmarks.
    4. Select “Restore Files”.
    5. A window will open showing all the backups you have made. Select the one you wish to be restored by clicking the “Restore” button.
    6. After confirming, iCloud will start to restore all the files and data contained in the selected backup. This will replace all notes you have on your phone, but before doing so, those current files will be archived by the system first.
If you fail to restore your deleted notes from the “Recently Deleted” folder or from one of your backups from iCloud, we got you covered through our FoneDog Toolkit - iOS Data Recovery.
Way 3: Recover Deleted Notes without Any Data Backups

Way 4: Recover Deleted Notes Using “Recover from iTunes Backup File”
If you have recently performed a backup of your files on your iPhone to iTunes, we can use this second recovery option to retrieve the notes that went missing from your device.
Step 1: Switch to “Recover from iTunes Backup File”
Step 2: Select where to Get the Backup
    Step 3: Perform the Scan

Step 5: Review and Select the Notes to Retrieve
Step 6: Restore Notes on iPhone/iPad
Way 5: Recover Deleted Notes Using “Recover from iCloud Backup File”
Lastly, we have the recovery option that will allow you to access and restore backup files that you have saved to the iCloud.
Step 1: Switch to “Recover from iCloud Backup File” Recovery Mode
Step 2: Sign in to iCloud
Step 3: Select the Backup File to Retrieve

I don’t have a Recently Deleted folder on iPad. I have a better idea. Going to start using a 3rd Party Notes app as most Apple apps are trash.
