Explore Hafragilfoss Waterfall and Jökulsárgljúfur Canyon in Iceland

Hafragilfoss Waterfall is located in Northeast Iceland on the Diamond Circle.
Hafragilfoss is on Jökulságljúfur canyon and the glacial river Jökulsá á Fjöllum. This video was filmed from the east side which offers a better view than the west side. The parking lot is just a 5-minute drive from Dettifoss parking lot (The east side).
I highly recommend you visit Hafragilfoss Waterfall after you visit Dettifoss Waterfall. Hafragilfoss Waterfall is just a 5-minute drive from Dettifoss parking lot (The east side).
If you visit Hafragilfoss from the east side, you will get a better view. You will be driving a gravel road for about 30-45 minutes if you visit the waterfall from the east side. First, try to visit Dettifoss when you try to find Dettifoss on google maps, google maps will give you 2 options; the east side and the west side. Choose the east side if you want to get a stunning view.
After you visit Dettifoss, drive for about 5 minutes to Hafragilfoss parking lot.
Parking is free and there is no public restroom.
You do not need a 4WD car to drive the gravel road to Dettifoss Waterfall (The East Side). A standard regular car will do fine.
