Not sure, ethanol from agri crops is the best for india- remember, you have to feed one sixth of humanity and India is monsoon dependent; and monsoon's consistency is a question mark thanks for climate change; Time for Gadkari ji to focus on sea weed along the 7500km coast line and use that feedstock for bio fuel; also crops from the huge waste lands in india.

India doesn't have a shortage of food, of anything it has mismanagement. Remember we are a major exporter in many important crops. So it isnt a bad idea to switch to agro based fuels. It may even increase farmers earning and they will this have higher food security as they can buy stuff from markets.

In Nagpur....new cement roads are unnecessarily raised levels .. because old roads were layered with coment ..all residential homes level.depleted .....All squares ..chowk....have gone in pits...all roads into a raised level from a square....all debris still lying roadside...
RMC plant....in the middle of residential areas...to develop cement roads in mid of cities ...at the stake of ruin the health of residents.....

his contribution with Indian road building is exorbitant -most welcome-in the same manner if the tollgate collection also maintained by central govt itself with recruitment of staff and trained them it is more advantages to our central and state govt instead handing over to corporate people -I hope this type of problems will solved sooner or later -most welcome-hats of all those who are taking step to development of road -journey time reduced considerably

Hoskote to Sriperumbudur is not Bangalore to Chennai. Please Nitin Gadkari should actually travel in this road like a normal passenger before making the claims
That’s ok, he always exaggerates. It will realistic take 2.5 hours to cover 130 kms
@@banditonehundred I drive frequently on these roads. You can do Mysuru in 2 hrs on non weekends, but many drive 120+ for that. Exaggeration is ok. Falsity is not. Chennai claim is impossible.

Today, the EV game is driven by geopolitics than the move towards green. The frenzy for EVs was triggered by nation(s) who control battery resources. Ensures they’re ahead of the rest both in tech advancement and profitability.
Should not disrupt the Indian ICE industry. We’ve come a long way. Would be unwise and disastrous to dismantle it for EVs. Would rather we invest in alternative tech R&D. That is true leadership. Not by following some nation or other in the world.
World’s not moving to EVs. Research on many other alternative techs has been going on in the skunk works.
Stats say a lot too. Demand for EVs is down, most are very iffy about their sustainability claim. Tesla’s not about EVs. It was merely a channel to start an industry (launchpad) with using Obama’s $0.5 B subsidy left on the table. Let’s be smarter. Be more cognizant. What’s apparent is never the substance! Only we step into the quicksand time and again.
Would rather follow the wise. Hybrid will go a long way in the near term. Long term, in the absence of truly sustainable solutions, for a population of a size like ours, have to think seriously about town planing with 100% reliance on public transport. While simultaneously gradually discouraging “individual ownership” of vehicles. Many advanced nations do it today and have been doing it for years. That’s embracing true change for a genuine purpose.
