I'm Ghanaian but heard this song in Yoruba land while in Nigeria and I immediately fell in love with it but no one seem to know how to help me get it because they didn't know the title and artiste. I forgot how it sounded over the months until just this evening it was playing on the status of a Calabar friend. I immediately used the voice search and here I am😅! I'm so glad I found it, using it as my ring tone right away!!! A merry and peaceful Christmas celebration to y'all!!!

As an Ibibio, I am very proud! The singer talks directly the listener about how we must persevere as we walk the path of life. Also, he refers to the Good Shepherd (edong uwa), Jesus (God) who searches for lost sheep. The third layer is the singer saying that he too is walking on the narrow path, looking for and trying to follow the Good Shepherd, ultimately to eternal life in Heaven. There are so many layers that it's difficult to translate, but I tried my best to honor the full meaning of this beautiful song.

I am from Cameroon 🇨🇲 but this song reminds me of my Manyu tribe. Our dialect, dressing, and dancing is almost identical to this.

I had looked for the title of this song for nearly 6 months! I found it 2 hours ago, and it has been on repeat! I am Yoruba, but those voices, the dialect, the harmony- everything is in place! Even the video? Descriptive of the culture! Thank you for sharing your light! ❤
