according to marvel comic lore: infinity stones are actually a lot more fucking useless than they appear.
yes, infinity stones when collected allow you to alter the universe how you wish, but only in THAT universe that it came from. if you were to use it outside that universe like in an alternate universe or lets say, a office building full of timekeepers that exist outside of time and space, then yeah the stones are paper weights.
in the comics, where they had a united Avengers across dimensions, only some of them had infinity stones because some dimensions they were either lost or destroyed and they couldn't lend each other stones. If you lose your dimensions infinity stones you're screwed. Sure you can go back in time to get them like in Endgame, but if your infinite potential future keeps going back for the stones, itll eventually become so damn tedious and complicated to function
Infinity stones are the epitome of in universe its good but out its sucks

Note: The reason the Time Keepers allowed the Avengers to do what they did because the Avengers did not change the past. They went into the past and took the infinity stones back to the future, and once they were done using them, restored them back to the exact moment that they took them, so as if they were never gone. The future went along the path they wanted, but they didn't interfere with the past, meaning there was no branching timeline that would occur.

16:40 Fun fact: for those who may not know, the infinity stones only work in the universe that they were created in. If you take them out of their universe or time-line as much, then they're as useful as a skipping stones and paper weights.
@@soyourboi27 the TVA operates outside of the flow of time, so the infinity stones wouldn't work there. But they would still work in Endgame because they being used in the universe that they were created in. So maybe saying that they wouldn't work in another time-line was a poor choice of words.
@@soyourboi27 Technically the traveled to the past and retrieved the infinity stones it was the same Universe just in the past. TVA exists outside of time and I would like to think space so a different Universe. Variants are different timelines or different universes they don't travel into the future or past they create a new future by doing something different than what should have been done
Are you sure, I thought the avengers literally went to another universe to retrieve stones and bring them back hence why Dr Strange was able to see the realities of all those time line in different universes where they fail.
@@NathanielRose the avengers didn't travel to another universe. They traveled back in their time-line. And Doctor Strange was able to see different possibilities of what could happen within their respected time. Infinity stones only work in their own universes.
@@paul-juniorblack6151 but that can't be true if they traveled to their own past loki escaping would change their present. Which is against the point of what they were doing. It would have to be an alternate timeline meaning a different universe. Unless loki gets reset at the end of this show, so it doesn't mess with the timeline. Which would mean it doesn't matter what happens to him here at least to the overall story because he'd be reset to the point he was at in episode 1.

Nexus causes different timelines separate from the sacred timeline. Rest charges don’t reset they erase. That’s why morbius told the child to wait outside, he was erasing her. Meaning the timeline when Loki escaped no longer exists, they all died. But it the main timeline it goes on as planed.
Nah i don't think reset charges erases entire timelines. They simply erases the affected portions of timeline branches and the timeline itself will heal and reset whatever things that isn't supposed to happen back in it's ordered way. The kid got affected by the variant Loki that's why he gotta be reset, but after that he will return to his supposed place
It's called a Reset so one would assume it RESETS.
As in it alters the changes caused by variants to no longer be there.

SPOILERS FOR EP2
You see, this event were happen around Endgame right? WandaVision happen right after endgame. Lady Loki already bombed the sacred timeline, so they sent every unit of minutemen to reset all the timeline that has been branched. That events may be happen when Wanda also altered the realities, hence why the TVA didn't come to her realities because they are out of unit.
Well like the episode said, It's not really about approval and keeping peace, the sacred timeline is just a timeline that was chosen to be the main and superior, the timekeepers don't care if good or bad things happen, even if they are extremely big events like what happened in Wanda Vision, it's basically the same reasoning they give for letting Infinity War and Endgame happen. And a Nexus Being is different from a Nexus event.

Live action show?! The gift that keeps on giving
Avengers didn't alter the timelines since they returned the stones immediately after they took them. Captain America literally went back and placed each stone and Mjolnir back into the past at the end of Endgame.
Captain america literally stayed in the past meaning you had 2 variants in the same universe/timeline. A young one fighting against thanos and an another one getting old while clapping Peggy cheeks and creating his own branch. Not to mention that no time meddling means no variant loki.
@@zimvader25 Captain America probably got put on trial just like loki did and was proven innocent, since if anyone deserved happiness and a becoming a variant, it was one of the best avengers. Besides replacing the tesseract stopped the nexus even and the loki variant was caught by the TVA while they reset the timeline again. They probably just reset the timeline steve was in with peggy after he was done since he wasnt making a huge mess if he was able to come back to the Sacred timeline, Thats why theres a court in the first place to judge. You seriously think they would treat Steve Rogers the same way they would treat the God of Mischief?

That's the best part about this show is that we literally know nothing, and we're about to find the reason why the Loki variant they're hunting down has a good reason to destroy the TVA...

In case anyone was wondering, that plane story that Loki went through and was called D B Cooper by Mobius was actually a true story. The real DB Cooper was never caught and so now we know that he was actually Loki in disguise.

17:07 imagine working your entire life towards achieving your dream and then finding out that some guy at a desk is using it as a paperweight. That right there is when Loki realised the TVA was serious business. He did everything in his power to get the Tesseract. They don't care about it.
I think he's gonna gather enough to reset all timelines then become the king of his own timeline because remember he wanted to conquer earth but now with the resets he has the chance to conquer timelines.
FYi for those who don't know: In the comics, the Infinity Stones cannot work outside of their native universe/timeline/whatever. Since the TVA truncated (destroyed) the new timeline they got Loki from, any surviving Infinity Stones from that timeline are rendered inert since their 'native' universe no longer exists. It's the same for every timeline the TVA neutralizes.

@@destroyerblackdragon Well if they follow comic lore the stones would only work in their original dimension. Let's say you take Time Stone A to Dimension A, it'll do all the crazy time magic you'd expect it to do. Take it to Dimension B-Z and it's just cool looking green rock.

They DESTROY alternate timelines that don’t fit into the grand scheme of things.
The BRANCH timelines are “Pruned”(their exact words), which just means to cut it off. Everyone there dies.

By the way Wanda is a nexus being(specifically the nexus being of the main universe) due to this she can manipulate the multiverse in any way she desires and can create entire worlds due to Chaos Magic and Reality Manipulation
I think the reason why TVA didn't come from Wanda is because of Loki EP2.

TVA should've been interfered at that point but why they didn't? Maybe because TVA is out of unit due to Lady Loki bombing the scared timeline.
