Ah yes loud fidgets are perfect for an airplane, everyone knows you're supposed to be loud on an airplane
As someone with Adhd I love loud fidgets when I am fidgeting with them myself but it someone near me makes repetitive pop/click/smack/tap noises I go into full discomfort mode so severely it physically hurts. This is why I NEVER take my loud fidgets into the public, only the silent ones.

Honestly, I think most people just have fidget toys because they are “aesthetic” or just “satisfying”. Like in my opinion, they’re made for people who can’t focus and/or have anxiety, I could be wrong but they seem to have just turned into another colorful TikTok trend.
