Back when I worked at Long John Silvers, there was a man that would come in and sit in a specific booth in the corner next to the door where you enter in. He would come in very often and sit there are cry, sometimes weep. I didn't know why at first until someone told me he and his wife used to come here all the time and sit in that very same booth. He had lost her a while back, but he would still come to feel close to her. His love for her is infinite. After Long John Silvers shut down, all I could think about was that precious man and how he would take it :( It's been almost 10 years now and I still remember him and wonder how he is doing.
He’s probably with her right now ☺️
How progress removes our livlihood and nostalgic moments only left in memories to remember what special times once upon time was this spot. Gone.

If you ever had a true love it never dies. I’ve seen it in my mother and felt it in my heart. Losing love that’s alive can leave anger and Even hope, but death leaves only one place to meet again.

I lost my Daddy in 1992, then 😢 lost my baby sister 😢 in 2000, and I just lost my Mom January 2021 and other love ❤ ones in between and I have to tell myself every day that their in a better place and I know that we will be all back together again one day. I strongly believe that theres more to life than just here. God Bless You and all your love ones.

I so miss My Husband 😭💔 It will be 7 years on October 3rd and this song hit me! He was man with so much love! He stood 6'4", size 16 boot, and wedding ring, which I still wear on a gold chain around my neck. He looked mean, beared and was far from it. He never raised his voice to me or a hand.... That right there is the definition of a real Man. He was a truck driver and hauled cement and developed Silicosis, "black lung disease". He was on Hospice for 2 years, at which time I stopped working as a nurse to be with Him. Praise God for the time because I cherish it. We kept Him here at home on the farm he was raised on and we raised Our children on, it was what he wanted. Our grandchildren called him "Bumpa" and he is greatly missed. A few days before he passed away he asked me to take him out on our porch, as we got out there he said, "do you hear the doves"? He then sang "On The Wings of a Snow White Dove" to me. 😭 It was then that I knew his time was near. One of the last things he said to me was, "I wish I could box you all up and take you with me", 😢 He told me to see that our children succeed and watch our grandchildren grow up and tell them how much he loved them. He was only 60 years old. I miss him beyond words. I know he's saving a place for me in Heaven.
Sorry this was long, but next Sunday is October 3rd and we'll all be thinking of Him and cherishing the memories.

There's 2 songs by Mark Wills (Wish you were here) and (The balloon song) that are my 2 favorite country songs ever! This is right up there with those. Hits you in the heart - and I'm blessed beyond words to be married for 20 years and have 2 beautiful children that I can't wait to watch grow up (they're 10 and 6!) Here's to this song on repeat for the rest of the night...

Not being from The US, I've only just discovered that Scotty and Lauren Alaina were on American Idol together. Their duets are amazing. It is an injustice to music that these two have not done an album together!
