Between Valentino and Lando there are 20 years of difference "I could be your father" in the Italian language means that between 2 people there is a certain age difference, not litterally that older could have been the father of the younger. It's similar to when young 20-22 year old F1 drivers said to Riccardo Patrese, who was almost 40, "Okay grandpa"

Love how humble Rossi is and he has such a cool personality. Absolute legend of Motorsport in general let alone MotoGP. To be racing at that level, consistently for so long shows how much of a legend he is.

I think his plan is to stay with McLaren for a long time, they really invested in his career, he came through their young driver program, had very impressive first 2 seasons in f1, I think he's the young guy they want to grow with the team, and he fints in really well with McLaren. I hope to see him in orange for a long time to come.

McLaren is the best of the rest. They have the most points out of the mid field so far, but for McLaren to get a podium finish before the end of the season we would need another German GP disaster. You’d have MBZ in the bottom of the points and a Ferrari out, now with Albon going to RBR, that will let us see whether or not he has the pace to be competitive. It is going to struggle to keep up with Max’s pace (not saying he can’t, it’s just going to be difficult.) So with Seb and Max fighting for pole, that would allow Carlos or Lando the chance to get P3 if the grid worked out in their favor. Even if they could just slipstream with each other and extend the gap between P6 and them. Maybe do TO for Carlos to defend and Lando to lead, as Carlos has more experience, then at the last sec swap so Carlos gets the podium or let Lando take the podium.
I think it would be a difficult task this season but it is doable. Next season before the regs get re-written is the chance for McLaren to show the true talent of the drivers. 2021 is the time to show the ingenuity of the engineering. Honda engines have shown great promise with RedBull. Maybe it’s time to switch to Honda? Thoughts?

I met Valentino in 2008 at Indianapolis GP, he is so different than the rest of the racers, always smiling and has tons of fun. Others are all stressed out and are all business. I feel lucky to be alive during his career, there will never be another like him, numbers aren't everything, others may beat his records, but true champion is about so much more than just statistics.

Also went to Mugello last year, what a magnificent track and the atmosphere there...it's a three day carbon fueled carnival with people waving chainsaws equipped with exhausts in the air and you can almost sleep on the track
