I used to work overnights at volcano bay, and let me tell you we spend 8 hours a night cleaning up the paths of sand and raking the beaches. But it's nice to see people enjoy it

Literally just started researching this topic today in prep for my trip. Great timing for my usual go-to channel during my prep!
We have skipped Volcano Bay in our prior visits, my wife doesn't like water slides.
We are gonna try to make a whole day visit with the preferred seating when we come next time, seems like a lot of fun. I think she will enjoy the chill time, drinks and the fearless river.

So glad I watched this the morning I went to VB last week, wouldn’t have went to tap into Krakatau so quick without the tip. Got in for early entry (as staying at Cabana Bay) and even when we got to tap in just before general opening it was already at 85 min wait. By lunch time it was full. Thanks as always guys 😊
We were there on the 11th, just before you guys filmed this! We had such an amazing time, and your videos were really informative before our trip :) the whole thing was a mother's day gift to my mom and she had an amazing time!
(And you guys got chairs in the same section that we did!)
This place is amazing! It is seriously the only place on earth where I forget all my worries…mostly because I’m fighting for my life in Teawa Fearless River, but somehow carefree-ily. 😂

Extra pro tip: Keep one phone in a waterproof pouch per group for mobile ordering and pictures! This skips the extra trip to the lockers

Me and girlfriend just went to VB for the first time! What a blast! But oh my gosh we didn’t know about the fearless river until the very end when we were able to finally ride krakatu, we were like wait, whys that lazy river going so fast (we went in the normal lazy river earlier) It was so much fun to go in!
So it's not just me who struggled to put on the TapuTapu!! Good to know!

Great vlog as ever guys! Can’t believe we missed you at VB by just one day! One other mistake is buying bottled water at the park. Instead either take your own cup or get one free from the bars and food areas and get free water from the freestyle machines!
I love the Fearless River. The lazy river is great too. We haven't done all of the slides yet. Hopefully next time there we will complete what we have missed. That is if we can stay out of the Fearless River. LOL!

We have been to VB 2 or 3 times & never tried the Waturi Fusion… Fixing that mistake in June!! Also, water shoes!
We call the fearless river the not so lazy river. I have been known to go around for hours. It was cool to meet y'all at valet parking the other day!
Great park and great customer service. One of the times I went there, some douche stole my slides. I made a report with security and one of the head life gaurds took me over to one of the shops inside the park and let me pick out whatever slides or flip flops I wanted. They took care of me and my family the rest of the day. So yes...100% the lockers are a must for expensive things because thefts do occur occasionally at these parks.
That’s great to hear! I used to work at Volcano Bay and we were definitely empowered to help in cases like that. I didn’t witness a lot of theft while I was there, but yes it definitely happens and I’ve always been a huge advocate for lockers!
My husband loved the fearless river. We had to go around twice.😅
Dunno about the locker tip. I must have 200+ trips and never got one.

I was there that day and I saw you guys!! It was nice to say hello in person and mobile ordering really is a lifesaver 🙂↕️ I had just gotten in line at Whakawaiwai Eats and the line was really long so I decided to give mobile ordering a look and it tells me I could pick up at around 12:45-1:00 and it was literally 12:53 when I ordered and my food was done literally 2 minutes later!! The line didn’t even move when I picked my food up
Fearless River is very underrated. I could literally just spend the entire day going between it and the aqua coaster.

I used to work Virtual Line before it was merged into Slide Ops! I am also confused lol I remember there only being 4, but I stopped working at the park in 2019 so my memory is a bit fuzzy 😂
BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE
I went to Volcano Bay with friends and we got a cabana. I will NEVER go again without a cabana. Life changing. Expensive? Yeah. But I’m telling you… so amazing! I enjoy the second floor cabanas for better privacy! We typically stay at Cabana Bay so it’s incredibly convenient!
We're a family of 4 going in june. The 6 person cabana is over 900 so i asked for premium seating it's $230 for 2 people. Much more than the $190-230 price stated for cabanas.
I went a couple weeks ago and they said they were out of the Waturi Fusion. I was so sad.

They do! And they’re all the same so your cup would work at all three once activated

We visited VB one time and will never go again. Almost none of the slides were ride now. Was there all day and only able to ride 3 slides.
Idk how Orlando is with theft (I’m assuming it’s a bit higher than in Kentucky) but I’ve gone to Kentucky Kingdom for the waterpark over 60 times in the past two years. I’ve never rented a locker and nothing has gotten stolen. I do put my bag underneath a chair with a towel, but I also cover my things with books that I bring to read so that people think it’s just a book bag. I’ve actually had 5 or 6 friends who do the same thing and nothing has ever happened. Just a tip in case lockers don’t fit into your vacation funds:)

We personally aren’t gonna gamble with stuff like that, but to each their own! Lol you can also share the lockers among several people so if you have a large group, you just share and only pay a few dollars each.

Lol I think the reason it’s so great at VB is because most people have their phone in their locker!
If you leave the park, do you lose your wait time? Example: aqua coaster has 4 hour wait, can you leave and go to islands/studios for two hours and come back?

I tried 6 times on the same day to get the Waturi fusion and the machine kept breaking everytime I walked up. I kept doing laps and the guy told me to not get my hopes up of getting it 😭😭 I was so sad, and now I need to go back just for some rainbow icecream lol

Never vet a locker, just put bag on chair. Never had issue. Also, i encourage people to get away from Volcano chairs, it is load and crowded. Oh No/yeah is our go to, love with kids. There is a little pool to play at with chairs.
We always have camera gear so that’s a no-go for us, but we love that!

If you have a party of more than five get a cabana!!!! Seriously. Book it ahead of time. Just do it. It’s worth it. Especially in the summer time.

What's the difference in price, approximately, for the premier or cabana, if you call ahead versus getting when you get there?
That’s a great question and we’re not sure! It probably has to do with how many book up ahead of time.
Good run down. Next time tell me if the Express Pass works in Volcano Bay. AND, let me know if I can take a GoPro on any of the rides.
They have express at VB, but it’s separate from the other two theme parks. We’ve never purchased it. With the virtual line system it’s never felt necessary for us! The only thing you can take a GoPro on is the two rivers and the wave pool. You can’t take it on any of the slides.

“Agree to mobile order” is difficult when your phone is in a locker far from where you’re located when you’re ready to eat. VB should put touch screen/Tapu Tapu activated food ordering kiosks around.

I went there last month and I did not enjoy it. Granted it was one of the colder days and was over cast. I was hoping they would heat up the water a little.
So if a queue says 45 mins for example, can you just queue up for it or do you HAVE to tap in for a return time? If you can, would you recommend doing that at all?
Hi! I used to work the slide entrances at Volcano Bay - you always have to tap in for a return time unless the ride is a “Ride Now.” Once your virtual queue is up and you return to the slide, you will wait in a short physical line usually no more than 5-10 minutes. The idea of the virtual line is to allow you to spend most of the wait time doing other things such as going in the rivers/pools, eating, etc. instead of standing in line. Hope that makes sense :)
You have to tap in, you can’t just wait in line.

LOL well the only thing I did right was get there early! I made all kinds of mistakes after that lol. Don't get me wrong I had a blast and booked my cabana far in advance BUT didn't use Tapu Tapu because we didn't get on any attractions (Yeah...I know....no need to say a word lol). My big baby was living her best life in the wave pool 🤣! One of these days I'm going to experience a waterpark in a more adventurous way....one day lol! And I did not get a Waturi Fusion 😩😳....I know....SMH 😂!
People don't mobile order at VB, because their phones are locked in a locker. The best place for chairs is Hammerhead Beach, right at the entrance to the Fearless River which we spend 80% of our day in.
If this doesn't convince you to get the 3 park option I don't know what will!
Hey guys, were you by any chance stopped by a weird group of students who asked you to do the macarana with them this past Sunday?
The Fearless River is not that much fun when you’re at the point that you’ve queued up on one ride and all the other rides also have queues. For the one day that you get to visit the park as a visitor from another country, this period of time is not a value for guests. I realized this after my fifteenth or so lap in the river.
We are sorry that was your experience, but It’s much better than standing in a single line all day in the Florida heat

There are actually a few slides that have elevators! Maku/Puihi and Krakatau.
