I'm not sure we're watching an exact recreation of the comics though? And most shows give the main character a main love interest? Like Arrow and Flash - if anything I'd compare Supergirl to those shows in this regard rather than the comics, which means she should indeed be able to hold down a relationship, with bumps along the way! Kinda unfair on this show if she doesn't!

The primary crime against his own safety that his character did wrong- objectively- was the sort of sexual objectifying of anyone at all... and while that's abundantly commonplace in his social class (one major reason I hate them for their places in society: I couldn't care *less* about their fiscal resources, but the sexual immorality that so commonly afflicts the upper classes is what I detest about them so much.), it is frankly a disgusting trait of his upbringing- and based on his own lines he would agree with me on the hurtful nature of seeing anyone as a sexual object for one's own gratification. *That* is why he so loved her: she made him see her as a person, not some "toy girlfriend" for him to use and put away in the first place! And that helped him to heal and to truly grow up as a man and come to his senses. And yes, as royalty he was character-wise complete and utter vermin filth and subhuman garbage excrement due to the immorality of his lifestyle- one thing I strongly think based on his more mature lines he would agree on: he was *not* living right, not by a long-shot. *I* just will not act on that kind of previous stance because it is far too Marxist for going along with- and would destroy *me* in the quest to eliminate them.

He cares about her, loves her even, of course he's there for her? That doesn't stop him also loving Kara? And from his own words its clear his love for Kara was and is stronger than his love for Imra, which came only after an arranged marriage. If you don't like Karamel I'm not sure why you clicked onto this video, or felt the need to comment! Especially when I made and posted this video last March before he'd even gone away?
