Mercury cast their own Engines. So don't confuse Marine Use with a Vehicle. There not the same.

@@MasterChief-sl9ro Haha. I worked briefly, 9 months, for GM in the 80's. GM Powertrain supplied the marine industry from 4-cylinder to V8 to Velvet Drives and some outdrives. These all were cast at Saginaw Metal Casting Operations in Saginaw, Michigan. Mercury Marine cast there own outboard and certain outdrives. Don't kid yourself or somebody else.
