- My Minutemen army destroys the Brotherhood of steel airship named 'Prydwen'.
I didn't use any mods, even though you see a lot of generals outfits and Minutemen hats, that's a duplication Glitch, not mods.
The backpack is from the creation club, it's considered DLC, and not a mod.
The reason i made this video is because i saw some other videos about this mission but i found them disappointing, because they didn't build up their settlements and also didn't make their npcs look like they were part of a army, so i spent weeks doing all of this.

I used a duplication glitch for the outfits because I prefer Preston's slouch hat and the blue generals armour
I used the automaton DLC repeat quest after the DLC is beaten to get more NPCs.

In my play through the vertibirds kept crashing into the water which caused this D-day like scene where power armor was marching out of the water just to get obliterated by missles

HAHAHA. I forgot about that. If you scrap and store an item or object at the same time it increases the building capacity each time you do it.
The fact that everyone in your army wears the generals uniform sorta triggers me. Aside from that good video

What you call "innocent" is different than what I call innocent. But the BOS under Maxon is the best hope for the commonwealth. They offer the best protection and actually go around killing feral ghouls and institute synths

This was so cool, I wish it didnt take hours of player effort to talor this sequence to be as cool as this is.
Dunno but the "counter attack" was the most unlogical thing to happen.. like.. cmon. "We just lost probably more then half our resources in a split second. How about we just send everything we got left into a suicide run because the protagonist needs some kind of "fight scene" so it doesn´t seem to easy"... wouldn´t it be way more interesting if the BOS did hull down, preparing for counter offensive and give you hell by attacking all artillery positions in range at once? Ah yes.. you can´t defend them all at once and most RPG players hate to "lose progress" and would rage over running around their settlement spamming E to repair :,D
It should have run a bunch of radiant quests until 1 or 2 weeks have passed where the BoS is giving hell on all settlements the game engine wouldnt support it but it would make those giant forts you make in the game be actually usefull

I like destroying the Brotherhood of Steel with the Minuteman. I tried destroying them with the Railroad one time, and as much as I love a good stealth mission, I found it kinda boring. I've never destroyed the Brotherhood with the Institute because I never side with the institute, although I might have an Institute playthrough someday.
You should do an institute playthrough, their ending is very different to the other 3

@@infernowolf6659 I did my first just last month and it was okay, Shame you can't show some mercy by evacuating the ship before like you sort of can for the institute with the others.
If you're using mods, get a lightsaber and cape mod and become an institute Sith Lord. Even better if you use a cheat mod to make yourself faster and higher health.
The BOS with the Power Armor mod that makes PA pretty much invincible makes it so they can't be defeated. Especially when you make the vertiberd act like actual armored troop carriers
Something about blowing the brotherhood up brings me immense satisfaction. Maybe my next play through will be to deliberately kos the brotherhood.
Not the kind of ending I want, the only good reason for the minutemen ending is simply to save the Railroad and the BOS where it would not be possible if you side with other factions.
Yeah the minutemen ending is 2 things.
1. The ending that lets you preserve the most factions
2. The back up ending in case you piss every other faction off since the only way to betray the minutemen is saying the right dialogue to Preston when he scolds you for becoming the nuka world over boss but that outcome isn’t reasonably happening before you beat the game.
And depending on your stance on the brotherhood/rp it makes sense that this is an option, I tend to do it because I could reasonably see myself becoming enemies with them if I were in the sole survivors shoes due to their population consisting of bigots and because this is the brotherhood they would rather be destroyed than let me off the hook.
There are only a few reasons i kept them alive teagan,ingram,danse and the cat
Someone needs to make a mod quest where you can steal the cat before blowing up the Prydwen.

Yeah, It's something I've always wanted to do.
As much as I want to destroy the BOS as the minutemen. IT felt like there is no other way to antagonize the BOS without killing named BOS members. I really wished that after finishing the main story with the Minutemen you`ll get a quest from Preston saying that BOS has been harassing settlements to give them supplies. this kinda makes sense since in the minutemen ending the settlers depended on the minutemen rather than the BOS. this causes the settlements to support the minutemen more then the BOS.
I understand where you're coming from, but if you side with the BOS, you realise that they've been harrassing the settlers for food and supplies. But I wish it had more dialogue to tell the player that the BOS was harassing the settlers.
Best way to become enemies of the brotherhood is to side with the railroad becoming officially enemies of the brotherhood during mass fusion. Then when you get the quest pinned you side with the minutemen and kill the institute agents that are attempting to kidnap a settler. Then you finish the game with the minutemen and destroy the bos after blowing up the institute.
Or in my case help out a settlement. Witness the bos soldiers kill my minutemen for no reason. so then you visit Cambridge police station and kill the brotherhood Stationed there. They shot first I just returned the favor.

Great stuff there! In a hundred plus runs I've never done that or seen it done, only heard about it. Now I really want to make a new run and do that except with a MM overhaul mod that makes them a true army. That will be one hell of a sight. Again, great stuff. Love that firefight.

Ingram also put helium in the ballasts ala the Hindenburg so kinda was asking for it. Hell, with that reactor and her constantly asking for coolant you could just let the Prydwen sit there and cook and it'd either be forced to land or the reactor would have a loca and do the rest.

Really? I don't have enough space to put all of my Power Armor. I have a four story tall warehouse of 8 PA Workshops (32 total) at Starlight Drive In alone and I'm putting more over at the Castle where I have another 40 PA Workshops that's quickly filling up.

I love the Minutemen, kinda sucks how they didn't make their side a bit more interesting though.
They are a terrible faction. And irl they wouldn't stand a chance against the Brotherhood. All untrained farmers who wouldn't even be able to afford a gun. If they lost against the gunners they'd definitely get whooped against the BOS

This mission took me hours to complete i had to find gears and oil and most of the time i couldn't find gears and screws
Here’s a couple tips.
1. tag stuff you need for search so that way when you find junk while exploring or for sale with them in it a magnifying glass will appear next to the name so you’ll know it’s smth you should pick up
2. Google who sells shipments of stuff you need. (ie kleo sells oil shipments and Arturo sells aluminum shipments)
3. Get your settlements in a grid with local leader so resources you need are shared across your settlements all throughout the commonwealth and dlc maps.

BRO!! I've played this game many times, but never had the Minutemen destroy the BoS. I may have to suck it up and build the commonwealth up, just to have the brotherhood loose this way :)
I love the BOS. The minutemen are ok only when you use mods. Otherwise they are useless. Worst armor, worst PA, worst gun. They literally suck. I replaced all their muskets with laser rifles.
Institute is the best choice if they actually let you run the damn thing.

Ez. Just good at building. If you look you will see what I did
there's a lot of videos on youtube that showcase how the wall can be fixed if you want to see it step by step. It envolves glitching a straight line of those concrete shack foundations into the castle's walls using a wooden fence, make it one for the lower part and one for the upper part of the wall and that's it

I took control of the Institute and used them to destroy the Brotherhood. I'd much rather live inside a safe technologically advanced bunker city. Living up in the radiation is bad for my health ; )

That’s a fusion generator, it’s added with wasteland workshop. It’s actually pretty good as it provides 100 power. And the sentry bot is the automatron dlc which lets you create robots of many makes and models including sentry bots (I think you can also modify codsworth into being a sentry bot)

No this is vanilla fallout 4. I used no mods in that playthrough. It might seem modded due to a duplication glitch I used on the General outfit, but I can assure you that it's not modded.
The mod you're probably thinking about is 'minuteman take over Nuka world'
Jaja remember that the Minuteman are the player faction you can make them an incredible militar force

Thing is tho the minute men are annoying and kind useless without u, once u build them up they become a massive power house but at some point I guess the code for their questline got corrupted or something cus it refuses to play. Even trying to get them out of concord to be introduced to them doesn't even work so I'm forced to ignore them. This issue happened before I even started downloading and using mods and before creation club. Idk what happened, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and starting a brand new untouched save but nothing works, the disc is fine no damage or anything but they don't work. Talking to Preston in concord he'll just stop talking or won't continue the conversation after I respond so I'm just forced to not have them at all which sucks cus the castle defense mission is actually alot of fun with a properly built up headquarters

@@SensiBurrito ps4, got it on launch, went to midnight release and played the fuck out of fallout 4 for weeks but after maybe close to 2 years it just started giving trouble. And it's pretty much only the minutemen questline with a few sparse exceptions
@@otakufreak2617 Have you deleted old saves on your actual PS4's storage, not in the game. Your saves will still save to the PlayStation itself, even if you delete them on the game.
If you have mods installed, that could also affect your game.
You could also change the dialogue camera, to and from the cinematic one to see if dialogue will progress any further.
The game is optimized poorly, so there'a a lot of problems with the game.
@@SensiBurrito done the whole list, I mean completely delete the game and save data from the hard drive and everything. I think I've played it so much that the code in the disc go corrupted if thats even a thing cus I get issues with other titles like skyrim, fallout 3, new vegas was always a broken mess and all 3 of these I got on Xbox. When it comes to fallout 4 after that first minutemen run I didn't really use them much so I think the game maybe forgot how to run the script for it cus I just don't interact with them at all. Idk, but I've tried everything in the playbook and nothings worked. I've even installed a fix mod that helps the game run dramatically better in every category but their questline is just forgotten to my game
They're only useless until you make them better with mods

How do I get to do this mission????.....
Kill a high ranking member of the BOS, go to Preston and a new dialogue option should pop up. You may want to use power Armor once you get on the prydwen. jump off the side after you've killed a high ranking member of the BOS. You don't take any fall damage while in power armour. Depending how far you've gotten with the BOS story, doing this will make dance no longer a companion, he won't attack you, he will just turn into a normal settler. Also liberty prime will attack you on sight, you can't kill it.
Can you do this if you did the Brotherhood storyline I assume not but maybe since you mentioned Liberty Prime.
@@Jack-zw3cz Yes, I sided with the BOS in that game (big mistake on my end), you can no longer kill Maxon though (Kill another high ranking member of the BOS). If you do destroy the BOS, stay away from where the BOS used to be, because, Liberty prime can, and will one shot you, and you can't kill it.

Do minutemen quest line and eventually after destroying the institute someone will ask you if you want them to also destroy the prydwen
Not exactly like he described it. Basically you have to have done the nuclear option, wether with the brotherhood or the minutemen (railroad had you destroy the brotherhood before the attack on the institute) and then you have to become enemies with the brotherhood and next time you talk to Preston he’ll say exactly what he said at the beginning of the video. The best way to become enemies with them without just killing someone on the prydwen/at Cambridge is to side with the institute with the mass fusion building.
How to get the mission?
Choose to join the Minuteman faction and pick a fight with the brotherhood (optional)

The automatron DLC. After you complete the story for it, you can do the repeatable quests, and there's a chance that a group of survivors will get attacked by the robots, and if the survivors don't die, you can ask one to join you, where you pick which settlement, it will move to the settlement, no matter how many people are already there.
I could of kept going on the amount of settlers, but didn't want to break the game.

Also the amount of settlers you can recruit normally is directionally tied to your charisma stat, so with clothes that increase this you can get around 43

Anyone who is important to the bos (if you do kill the bos, Danse will no longer become a companion.)
Doesn't matter which important character it is. if you haven't done any bos quests, i think you can kill Maxon (I'm not quite sure on that one though, I'll check in the future)

Says no mods, yet he has a backpack mod and a MM uniform mod installed. That is not the vanilla MM uniform for the NPCs from the base game lol. Cool video though, I love doing that with the MM.

@@matthewpearson9349nope it’s optional and you can only do it after the nuclear option (with either the minutemen or the brotherhood) and you have to have become enemies with the brotherhood, the main/only point to do this without just straight up killing one of their named members is mass fusion.
The Brotherhood antagonise minuteman settlements for their crops. They're no better than raiders.

I would argue Ceasar's Legion is much weirder. Yes, they are surprisingly powerful despite using the Roman Empire as their theme, but they cosplay as Roman soldiers and use spears. Goofy? In a way.
There are more minor factions that are way goofier, but the Minutemen definetely aren't.
