My husband and I have been watching your videos the last few months. We look forward to watching them every day. We are Central Floridians!!! I'm an Orlando native. One great old-Florida thing to do is canoe down the Wekiva River. A great starting point is Wekiva Island (since the state parks fill up early). The canoe route going left takes you into the Wekiva state park. Rock Springs (Kelly Park) is a fun state park if you want to raft down the river from the start of the Spring. The water is crystal clear!
Another tradition we often do is a corn maze in the Fall. Long and Scott Farms has one that should be starting soon. The have other maze types and a hay ride too. Enjoy your stay!

They really did build things to last back then, didn't they? Seeing all of these buildings still standing after 100 years is a testament to the quality and workmanship of the time. Especially in light of today's "disposable" society. Heck, my mom still uses the same hand mixer she bought at Montgomery Ward's back in the 70s! In the original box even!
When someone confronts you for whatever reason, i really wish you would record it.

St. Cloud is my hometown and my folks are still there! Went to Hickory Tree Elementary and Neptune Middle. Maybe we crossed paths when you worked at the St. Cloud Walmart. Thoroughly enjoying your journeys along 192.
Amazing how much it has changed, I’m 42 and still go back to visit. Did you ever swim at the gator hole? It’s got a community on top of it now
I moved to Florida many years ago to assist in opening a business. I made it for just about 1 year... the heat, bugs, daily rain, humidity, crazy drivers ( lived by Orlando, so many tourist who did not know the roads well ), and several other things that I can't remember right off, made us decide to move back to NC. I get a kick out of watching your travels, we had small children and a tight money situation, so we did the same kinds of things in finding places that were free or at the least very cheap to do. Thank you Adam the Woo, for bringing us along on your many adventures to locations far and wide! I enjoy your sharing tid-bits of info at each of the locations as well. Be safe, travel well, and I will see you tomorrow!

In my hometown of Maryland, there was "The Great Fire of Baltimore" in 1904. My grandmother (who lived in Baltimore her whole life) was born in 1907 & died 2002. Man, she had a lot of great stories that I will never forget. Thanks for sharing the history of St. Cloud & have a fantastic day! :)

🖐Hello Adam I know I'm 7 years late at watching this video on your tour of St. Cloud. I lived there for about half a year. I rented a room at the old St. Cloud Hotel that whole time I was there in 1997. Town looks really nice, more fixed up then when I was there. Watch them work on the movie Waterboy on my last days there with Adam Sandler. Saw Henry Winkler, The Fonz. Cool. I heard that Ma Barker had stayed at The St Cloud Hotel. I was on the 3rd floor where they say she stayed. I might have had her room. Thanks for your cool videos. See you. Trying to catch alot of older videos you have done.🖐

LOL I drove in that sort of crazy rain a few weeks ago. Coulda used a boat. 😜 We had flash flooding up here. And yes I've been places where people freak out and don't know what to do and just stop in middle of road. 😱😱

Am I the only one who thinks these vlogs aren't long enough?! I know a lot goes into them, Adam. But I wish they could be an hour long! I would love an hour long, DailyWoo, every single day. lol. Great video though. Always enjoy the videos whether they're 5 minutes long or 15 minutes. Awesome little town. I visited Saint Cloud, FL when I was about 7 or 8 when I went with my family to Disney. My aunt's sister in law lives in Saint Cloud and from what I can remember, it is a very beautiful town with very nice folks.

Adam I love your vlogs your doing about that area. I lived in Palm Bay from 1990-2000, and been thru that area a lot.
Those meatballs looked amazing! When I used to visit my Grandma in Pompano, it would rain every afternoon, but the sun would come out, and the evenings were fantastic!

I really enjoy your vlogs. especially when it is somewhere I've actually been. of course that was 44 years ago. I got to watch one of the Apollo rockets take off. which was cool but, as a young woman from Indiana I did not realize the dangers of fresh squeezed oj every day for breakfast, so I missed some of the accent. I also found out about fire ants there as well. drive careful and thanks

Here is a visit suggestion. Visit the Air Force Space and Missile Museum. If you get a "Cape Canaveral: Now and Then Tour" you will have the opportunity to visit a retired launch complex.
I lived in Port Charlotte once. Florida rains are as heavy as they come. That was a light sprinkle.

Lived in Orlando for two years (in the Navy) and was quite used to the 4:30 PM thunderstorm...but wait until 5:30 then the sun is back out. Love the history of St. Cloud, thanks Adam.

+amiedetherese I know who you're talking about and I believe they have every right to use that money how they want to contribute to their videos. I personally think their hotel tour was really cool. I'd love to stay there some day when I eventually make it to Florida to go to WDW. (I've been to Disneyland. I live in CA.) you never know, could've gotten a good deal or something. And it's also merchandise sales too. If you don't like how they're using the money for their videos, don't contribute. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm attacking you, not my intention at all. I am merely just trying to express my opinion on the matter.

I've lived in St. cloud for 14 years. i had no idea about all this. thank you for the info. so cool. and my best friend got married in that hotel!
they do use the band shelter for National Day of Prayer !1st Thursday in May.
