Think the external shock reservoir purpose is mostly more fluid capacity so cooler and less fade, thus more predictable. 2nd benefit is easy to swap out or replace vs the whole coil-over.. i believe.. maybe.. maybe not ha... prob more applies to off road trucks.

Why do so many FD guys wait to long before getting ready for competition?
I see so many having to rush, and/or outsourced things to be able to be ready on time because they wait too long. 🤷🏻♂️
We’ve actually been working on this car for months. With the wait on parts and other factors, it pushes me back. Rarely is it extremely smooth 😅
@@chrisforsbergracing yeah, even with the giant teams like RTR they’re having to outsource stuff because they don’t have time to do the stuff themselves.
