My BirthParents were given a choice when I was taken away from them when I was little. They faced Child Abuse Allegations (wich were all true) They were told u can keep being cruel to ur kids (wich meant I along with 3 Siblings would remain in FosterCare ) or they could get help and change. They told The Court the Alcohol was more important than having kids. It years later I wonder why they didn't want me. And my Birthday is tomorrow Dad died in 2005 I dont know where Mom is seeing this makes me wish things could have been different

You never realize what u have until it's gone. I wish I could've had more time with my mom that adopted me.. She has been gone 21 years. I miss my birth father and I only got to know him 12 years. I met him in 2000 and he died in 2012. I still have my dad that adopted me and my birth mom. I have a step mom too.

Hey! Nice job on another "priorities-type" story! I met a guy who had three weeks to live. The cancer was in every one of his organs so the military sent him to his home city to say goodbye to everyone. I met him almost 40 years later. It wasn't a medical mixup. He got a second chance!
