Can we please have part 2? I want Mendu to tell us more about his spell at Chiefs and Sundowns. I admire this guy so much. When I started to understand and follow football in the early 2000s, he was at Chiefs and was my favorite player there him and the late Shoes.
I once played with a player like Mendu i hated him , grandstanding for other players fault when he cheese pick and wants things done his way I was a captain and I told him we defend as a team we attack as a team you stand there don't defend when given the ball you shouting that there is nobody on the space to receive the ball he thought he was a star then we showed him that he was nothing look at Mendu he never made it to Bafana while Sibaya and Mokoena did
Legend has it that during his stint at Chiefs under Ted Dumitru, he didn't greet his teammates at the club, it is alleged he only spoke to the late Shoes Mosheou. When asked about that, the legendary Mendu replied that " I'm at Chiefs to play football not to make friendships" 😀😀😀😀
How can one forget places and organizations he worked at? How possible that one can forget his qualifications? How possible one can forget his colleagues especially when they elevate to higher standards???????? ai
It does happen when you are put on the spot to answer, I remember i had to think hard when i was asked to name my qualifications coz I only remembered my diploma 😂😂
I have so much respect for Mendu especially now that he explained himself I just realized that we have so much in common. I m not a pushover, I tell it as it is.
