Hi Insym! Just want to say that even though your videos are more than an hour long, I still watch them and it's one way for me to conquer my fear for horror games. I love the commentary and it makes me a bit courageous and fight the fear that I have. Thank you for playing these games and keeping me sane from them with your commentaries. Love lots!
Just hooking in to say same, when I first played phasmo for example I was scared shitless. Going in the house at all sent my heart into full-on pumping mode and going inside the house alone was a complete nono and when I was in the house, I wouldn't even dare to go inside a room alone, even if my friends were literally in the doorframe.
Months of watching Insym and now I go into the house solo with no flashlight to load some important items off first and try to taunt the ghost every chance I get without even a hint of nervousness.
Now I won't go and suddenly play something like RE Village, but I would say Insym has drastically lowered my fear with horror games.

I really appreciate your commentary at the end about the link the media has been those with mental illnesses and 'dangerousness'. This was a part of my degree's dissertation, and it's seen as a global phenomenon that is trying to be managed but still happens. People with mental illnesses aren't automatically dangerous, and it can be tricky when games like these come out and can inadvertently create the same message

I have a friend with PTSD, so sadly the video became a bit too real for me.
However, from what I've seen it was excellent and Insym is as always, an amazing LetsPlay entertainer.
As someone with PTSD, it’s not like what they described as in the intro. It can cause people to have major flashbacks and other mental issues, but it’s not the cause of hallucinations or seeing things. It can cause disorders that result in hallucinations, but I’m pretty sure it’s not the cause of them. Hope you and your friend are doing well! And I don’t think it’s classified as a behavioral disorder. If you have questions I will totally answer them
Same. And I agree with you, it doesn't cause hallucinations. The character could have schizophrenia as well. And Schizophrenia has it's own misunderstandings. It doesn't cause violence, but many think it does. My cousin has Schizophrenia and WAS violent, but he had other mental health issues which includes anger issues. Unfortunately he's in jail for life now. Wish I could have helped him more while he lived with us. At heart he was a kind guy, he just wasn't raised well...at all. He actually left us one day because he felt an episode coming on and didn't want to hurt us. I wish he told us so we could have helped him.

RE: Sewers, usually sewers are multi level, in large cities there are sewer tunnels for electrical and maintenance, not so much for water, then below is the water channels and below the water is the real poop sewers.
Sewers utilitors/tunnels are usually with offices, machinery, electrical equipment, ventilation, etc..
Water and poop sewer tunnels in the other hand have large doors to manage water/waste routes.

My mom has been recently going through a lot of mental issues and it has finally started to take a toll on me, and this game has reminded me a lot of it, but you have been able to make me feel a better with the humour and enthusiasm in your videos. (SPOILER DO NOT READ PAST THIS PART IF YOU HAVEN'T FULLY WATCHED) Insym, I think the newspaper is a reflection of what the main character "knows" at that time, his memories are all jumbled up and with the way everything is aimed at the "Mustang Driver" that is probably the main character's way of reflecting self-guilt, especially when we come to learn things aren't the way he thinks they are. It would be interesting to see what happens if you answered the Doc's questions differently but I sense you would still play out the same sequences regardless
the paper said that the passenger side was heavily bloody, it didn't specify that there was a body but heavily seemed like there was because of "heavy amount of blood" but no confirmation on there being a body.

I think this game is being played in a sort of second-person perspective. Through most of it, you're probably Sam, but Alex is narrating as if it's his own experience. Quite a bit of it seems to be metaphorical, as well, and it's (probably intentionally) hard to delineate what's "real" and what's not.

The voice acting is the exact opposite of paranormal PI, and it's absolutely frightening.
From someone with hallucinations I don't recommend them, I love horror and actual ghost hunting and such hallucinations are some of the scariest things I've witnessed

The minor ones like hearing someone say your name or seeing a shadow move past that never did is one, those are the easy ones. It's having an entire conversations with people I'm looking at only to find out I was alone that scares me. I appreciate horror games shedding some sort of light on the subject but unless you've been through it you don't really know how fucking scary it is to find out the person helping you do the dishes wasn't even ever there. Stay strong.

Yeah, the "Happy Birthday" copyright strikers don't actually have any legal basis. They're just making stuff up, and because the way CZcams's policies are written, I imagine a lot of people aren't arguing. Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, but those guys are worse than patent squatters, copyright law is complicated, and I don't even know if they're doing it anymore after some legal battles they've had to fight.

That’s not expensive for car insurance lol. We pay $338 for one car, $400 ish for our second, and we have 2 cars that don’t work which we had been paying insurance for for awhile. (My husband is a mechanic and one is a car he’s building up and the other is broken and we just haven’t sold it yet).

The messages from Sam are dated in June and the date on his phone shows it's July 🤔. Game was great until the end and then it fell apart with the explanation given.
