Divish is a Seattle icon!
Puckett, loving these pods. Keep em coming!
Cano wasn't a failure in the slightest. Dude was a beast.
Orting! lol That's my town as well. Orting is good for the 4th of July. Everything is legal until midnight.
Jim. Please join the show.
Love the Divish segments Puck! With Jude and Divish being the only independent beat writers for the team, the organization easily controls the narrative. I get that Ryan doesn't want to lose access to players and coaches by speaking out. However, to simply say that hitting is hard to explain away the years of putrid offense is a little flat. Hitting being hard doesn't explain why 29 other teams do it better. I appreciated you pushing back with the question why do pitchers improve and rave about the coaching when they get here, but that doesn't happen with the bats. Keep up the great content. Happy 4th
It's disingenuous to claim 29 other team's are better at hitting year after year. The Mariners have actually had an above-average offense more often than not over the past decade. Should the team be spending significantly more to field a truly great team? Absolutely, but we haven't been fielding the worst offense in baseball for a decade. It's also off-base to insinuate Divish is going easy on the management or pulling his punches because he doesn't want to lose access.
Hearing a lot of booing watching last nights game. Especially for Julio, Polanco, and Hannigar. Looking forward to Jim next week!
We need a miracle
Send julio to MARK DE LA ROSA HE FIXED
N SCOTT SERVAIS TO AAA
That shit about town is too true, man. My late cat had a xanax jones!
I’m curious why sending him down is such a horrible idea. Mike Trout got sent back how many times? Is it just a bad idea for ego? Cause of his contract? What’s really good for the player?
Send Scott to the minors
He needs to get back on the juice
He needs to stop chasing that high insode FB in on his hands and slider off the plate... he gets 1 strike an AB!!!!
Lasics.... check his eyes!
The game sure has changed......they need to even it up for hitters somehow. Lower the mound maybe. The game is much more boring now.
That doesnt seem to be a problem for BALTIMORE young lineup... SMH
