    A very helpful video, thanks sister, I was looking for methods to color correct with Danessa Myricks products as I'm new to makeup in general and wanted to have more information to decide what to buy from their products. However, your video opened up my eyes on more ways to use the products and they way you explain is very simple easy to understand. much appreciated.

    very helpful -- thank you! You do such great tutorial videos! I've been dithering over a(nother) makeup buy, and this helped me clarify which shades and finishes of DM Colorfix to try. It never occurred to me to try using Colorfix on my brows which at this age can barely be seen anymore without "enhancement), and most products get wiped right off when I put on/take off my motorcycle helmet. Now I'll finally be ready to send that order off and get my new stuff and start playing with it. 😺

    You have such pretty features!
    I think you have some of the most comprehensive guides to DM products, especially the ColourFix on CZcams!
    I bought Blackout and Exposed and I've been enjoying using Exposed as a contour. I did not know I could use these as mascara so I think I'll get a lot of use out of Blackout on my lower lashes specifically! I wanted to ask if you had any experience using them on the waterline?
    Also, would you be able to show us how to mix these to produce different finishes? I'm curious to know what they could be mixed with that would not affect their longevity.
    Thanks, in advance! ☺️

    • @Beautylashes19
      @Beautylashes19  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks so much 😊 I am happy you are enjoying your Colorfixes 😃
      Yes, they work amazing on the waterline.. you can use all formulas except for Neons..
      Unless you mix Colorfix with another Colorfix or mixing medium, it's going to decrease the longevity/wear time on the eyes..
      If using as blush or contour or bronzer or lip product, it can definitely be sheared out by mixing in with nude shades of Colorfix or moisturizer or foundation or gloss, etc.. I'll think over this for a video and see if there's enough for a video 😁

      @@Beautylashes19 thanks so much for your quick reply! Much appreciated! I didn't know I could mix these with moisturizer! I have a few shades I have been looking at for bronzer, especially because I think the formula will stick around under a mask where my normal cream bronzer just rubs off but since I'm so pale, I worry it will be too harsh. I'll play around with mixing, as you suggest! I'm also going to buy one to use as a colour corrector, as you suggest in this video.

    Thanks for this❤️. I have been wanting to buy these because the setting quality really intrigues me. I have extremely oily lids and so far only Nars Smudgeproof has held on, I would be super interested in using a colorfix as a primer. Will try as concealer too (matured skin here so wrinkle city! 😛). I love coloured eyebrows but want something I am sure won’t drip down my face 🤣

    • @Beautylashes19
      @Beautylashes19  Před 3 lety +1

      Oh if you have oily eyelids, the Colorfix will also crease on you (it does on me depending on how much I have on). So, I usually apply it over my NARS primer. The Colorfix nude works great for cut crease as I already have the NaRs eye primer underneath.

    Great vid. On your next video it would be helpful to hear your thoughts on playtime. I hear mixed feedback, with professional artists saying there’s plenty of play time. So I fear that for a makeup enthusiast like myself, these would be difficult to use. Thanks!

    • @Beautylashes19
      @Beautylashes19  Před 3 lety +1

      Noted! I'll plan on discussing that in the next video on Colorfix..
      It's not going to be like a typical cream eyeshadow which doesn't set on the skin and has a long play time. So, one has to work a bit faster as it does not move once set. It works best on bare skin for blending easily.

    I have heard a lot of review that they're tacky, difficult blend, they dry out in 3-4 months and glitter is harsh on the skin. Is it true? I really want to try them.

    • @Beautylashes19
      @Beautylashes19  Před 2 lety +2

      I don't think they are tacky at all.. yes they are a cream texture but not tacky like glitter glue for example.. For blending, there is a little bit of a learning curve.. They are pretty much budge proof so they set soon on the eyes and hence need quicker blending than a powder eyeshadow.. Maybe a beginner would find it difficult to blend 🤷🏽‍♀️
      It's important to dispense a small amount on your palette or back of hand and keep the lid closed on these, if not they will dry out. I have had some of mine for over a year and they haven't dried out at all.. They used to have an older packaging and those used to dry out way sooner than current packaging..
      In terms of the glitter used in these, it's very fine and totally ok to use on the eyes and face... I have all of their formulas with shimmer/glitter and none of them irritate my eyes or the models/clients I work with... I hope this helps.. I would suggest buying one to try out the formula, see how you get along with it before buying more..
