@@KineticOrochi Got a question here, doing 5S 2H 236D(charged) Backdash 5S Dash 5S 2H Super does a good chunk more damage, what are some advantages of the air combo other than being flashy af?
@@G-DizzleDoni am 1 year late lol. The combo was done on 2 different characters. In reality the damage difference is very small and maybe some people find second route more consistent
Been labbing everything in this video for the past weeks, this is quality content ! For 2H corner starter, I found a pretty huge damaging alternative route : CH 2H > MFC dash > c.S > 6H > MFC > c.S > 6H > Ensenga Haven't tested it out on anyone but Ky, but it gives 34 extra damage on Ky, so it's worth learning for medium weights at least (though it requires a slightly stricter timing)
@@KineticOrochi Thanks! Maybe it's just how I like to learn, but I like to watch these videos and then make notes of the combos I want to learn for reference in training mode. But some of these go kind of quick! 😅 Anyway, keep up the good work!
If you can’t quickly identify the moves visually with inputs and combo notation on screen you might be getting into the deep end of the pool with the character a little too early tbh.
I saw a corner combo on twitter that was really cool, it was: Anti air C.S, JH, JD, jump, JH, JD deal, this makes it so only the first hit of the move connects (That is very plus and gives a hard knockdown), then you're so plus that you have time to land and do a OTG low mist finer and the card follow up wall breaks. You can also meaty and do a 50/50 I am very interested in seeing more practical ways to try to implement 1 hit air deal knockdowns and dustloop combos with Johnny because they look sick as hell
For the round start 6K combo if you end with 5k>6h>ensenga instead of the other way around, it does more damage and you keep the consistency. 5k>6h>6h does the most damage.
I hadn't thought of doing those vault into 2k smf combos thats some good knowledge for more things to do but there are a few things this misses, most importantly I'd say, johnny can wallbreak when cornered without tension or burst, if you do c.s 2h 236h~h (delay the deal input it takes some practice its not easy) c.s 6h ensenga then wallbreak however you want, the c.s after vault if the dealis timed right will sideswap the opponent.
Yo. I noticed any of the p.mf -> c.S -> dash cancel -> c.S stuff doesn't work on I-no. You use this one in the cs starter optimal combo vs mid-sized(No Idea if she is mid-sized), but it has application in full screen combos. I use c.S -> 2H -> p.mf -> c.s ->Dash cancel -> 5K -> 6K -> k.mf for mid-screen to wall break, and you can WA after the 6K for some full screen stuff. I think this might be a pretty decent universal route, but I haven't labbed it against the whole cast.
here is a bit not opti combos as i see (midscreen c.S; ch HS, ch 6k) i can send you better versions from some starters if you need it but great vid anyway, love to see it
I would learn one of each category that are easiest to do and work on everyone so like a combo used on goldlewis. At the end of the day improvement will come from learning the spacing of the character through matches
3:38 I will not rest till I hit this combo in a match.
This is PEAK combo expression! 🙌
Haha it's actuall a pretty consistent combo too 👍💯
Fire air conversion ❤

I don't even have johnny I just like watching his combos.
His combos def got class
Great Video!
one Note: 1:46 (2k 2d rc combo) A more damaging an easier route is after RC going 5S 2H 214P 5K 214K 6H
.... the combo your mentioning is in this video directly before the one you noted the time of...
@@yurazah Wow you're right, I somehow missed that my bad

Ty bro im sure by this point i could learn a lot from your johnny 🙌💯
This will help tremendously, thanks!
Thank you bro!
Great effort! But it would really help a lot if you can share the written combo notation. It is hard to note and follow the on-screen prompts as is.
My bad bro ill def keep that in mind next time 👌🏻💯

Pause the video, it makes it really easy. Then you have the inputs as the game presents them.
@Ray57 I just screenshot once the combo is done 😎
Been looking for Johnny guide. Thanks

Great guide, thanks a bunch 🗿💖
Welcome!🙌
Really solid work
Appreciate the kind words bro 🙌💯

can you link the video?
yeees i needed something like this
was making a document for myself and I needed combos just like this like for every situation
For sure man it def helps something to go back to when you wonder what the possible combo routes are 💯
Thanks a million for the resource!

Definitely finna try these out against the bros
Let me know how it goes 🙌💯

I would anyways finish the combos on the wall with mist finer, style first always
You got that right 😎😎

great vid, it would have been nice if you showed us the combo notation to make it a little easier to parse though
For sure bro ill try for the next character hopefully it dont take too long editing already takes quite some work
Good video
But not the mistFINDER again
Oh lord i did it again 😅😂😭
really appreciating this johnny combo guide but just wondering, can you still do this FS CH conversion 2:03 ? I just cant seem to get a 2k out in time
nvm i just tried delaying it more and it works, tysm for the video anyways
Sorry bro been away but glad you got it down 👍
These are a lot, which ones should be like a must learn for beginners?

Find any cool TK mist finer mix up combos?
Ight I know who I'm maining
The Outlaw 😎
Does character weight matter for dust air combos? The weight classes were removed in the patch.
Yeah they still do cause of hitboxes 👍
I dunno how you're hitting the combo at 2:00 I cannot connect that 2K right after 236H > H
Someone else commented they delayed it a bit more if that helps
Wish you'd list the damage too
They are mostly optimal 👍💯
Do you have written notation for any of this?
No unfortunately it wouldve taken way too long
