That was super fun, Andy, and it turned out brilliant!
Love this so much! So much joy watching this!
Andy, you have outstanded even your most outstanding vids, a masterpiece my man, totally outrageous. Can't wait for the next extravaganza, love Paul. PS I love my HB 62 Tele.
That is seriously sharp...and bonkers! Well done sir, well done.
The guitar is brilliant, and sounds great! Need to start taking orders.😎
Incredible! So creative!
That’s so funny. Such a cool idea! 😂
Just simply BRILLANT! ^v^
The fact you green screened Ryan’s face after he trash talked so much….! 🤣🤣 Instant win!
Awesome!
That's guitar looks fantastic. You the winner !
I laughed, I cried then I laughed again. I love it! Great job. Super creative.
Blimey! That’s like a double-decker of tone!!!
Amazing 😁
Love it... well done mate!!!!!!!
Thanks Andy! That was quite interesting. The tripod fail was hilarious!!!
Hahaha that's amazing!!! Great job!
I was 100% mesmerized by the absurdity of this project and it kept becoming more and more absurd towards the end. In the end, I LOVE IT!
Hey that was a cool idea with the green screen! Liked the unique build 👍
You are a lunatic! Love it!
That's incredible! 🤣👌🏻🤟🏻
I agree with Bh Guitars, it was gut wrenching to watch that beautiful piece of wood being attacked with a chisel. All I could think of was, someone call a Bobby and a cutman! The end result was really a fun guitar, really cool.
Andy that is a mad build.
I built a HB kit tele recently. I milled 8mm off the top and made a maple cap from recycled maple kitchen doors. Routed for twin P90s and finished off with an Aluminium pick guard which I oxidised in water and Oxi clean overnight. The aluminium ends up very smooth yet has a random patina on it. I didn't use any of the hardware form the kit, replaced everything with better quality components.
I dyed the maple cap and left the edge clear so it looks like the PRS style faux binding.
Wow the surf background really does make a difference, The bukovac paint would sound awesome I bet, A little hamfisted but your end result was worth it. Cheers.
Nice work!
No one will ever try to steal that!
Bahahaha! Ryan!! 60 Cycle Hum!! LOL!! You should send this to him to demo and “unbox” 🤣
Ah, so I wasn't the only maniac to try and combine two kits! Nice one, it looks like something from a cartoon!
@@TheGuitarGeek twin neck ukulele! Absurd, impractical but surprisingly fun 😁
Hilarious video. I love it! Double Tele ftw
Strangely odd seeing the 60 cycle hum instead of hearing it.. LOL hilarious vid! Really cool and unique guitar indeed! 👍🏻
I like to paint guitars one side at a time as it's laying down flat. It takes more time between coats but it avoids drips and always a better finish for me.
Sweet Jesus, mate. If guitar hell exists, you have just booked your place there! :) Cheers!
I love this so much
Brilliant!!!! 🤣💙💙
Ha ha ha. Man I F-ing love that!! Seriously i really now want a double thick tele. No like really.
Hahahaha, that is ridiculous. I love it!
Thx!!!
Made my day, hilarious, Andy
This is amazing and redicelously funny🤘🎸😍
THIS. IS. EPIC. I want this right now! Aaaaaa!!!!
Freaking hilarious!
🤣🤣🤣 Oh man, loved the green screen!!!
Lol you won me over with this video....the green screen guitar can now rival 60 Cycle Hums "Two Princtons" jingle!
Awesome work!! Definitely unique. Worth mentioning that Kmac2021 did the green screen guitar before (not a kit build, just a green guitar 😂)
This is so great I agree with Valeria, this wins 2022!
wtf duuuuude 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that tele made my day!! 🔥 thicc 😂😂😂
you and ryan are nuts(in a good way)!
nothing like friendly competition haha!
im lookin for a collab with you and ryan now!
maybe a "surfer jamm match"....his offset kit vs your tele kit....
id be the 1st one to watch that yay yaaa!!
Nice one.
just love this is really silly !!!! bravo
From Leo: Brilliant choice on making it fun. Your video had me in both worried for your safety and laughing out loud. Great bit of entertainment. Carry on.
Ok. You had me frowning the whole way through. Right up to the fire 🔥 and Waves 🌊- AMAZING AF. Greenie meanie Tele squeelie - 1, 60 Cycle - 0
Completely bonkers. Completely brilliant.
Ok that's was a surprise like a old top gear tv moment
So I just gave you a double super thumbs up. Hopefully that undoes anybody who gets a double super thumbs down.
thats rad , and with all that body depth if you put 4 small rubber feet on the bottom it would stand up on its own and not even need guitar stand !
Lmao putting 60 cycles face on itttt
Love it Ryan will wish he thought of that
Nice comback hahaha I think you beat him ;)
Nah, more mass! I like the semi-hollow approach, though. I'm stewing on a 8/4 with 4/4 top project and pondering how much material I'm actually willing to remove.
Hi Andy... Unpacking my Vox TB35C2... Break time for Andy... Troy from Atlantic City
Next step of the process would be making a proportionally thick neck for it as well, then?
What effect unit did you use for that “ surfing “ riff please ?
You're a genius.
Double stuffed tele. Yes, it chibs!
Only about halfway through the video so far, but this looks like it'd be something that Ryan & Steve would trash talk over on the 60 cycle hum podcast!
Edit: Turned out really well, great job!
Not me pausing the video to order those stickers 👀
I think it would be really cool to see a huge hollow body jazzbox tele. Maybe it could be in the next parallel universe series. instead of the tele being the first solid body, it was the first hollow body.
First I thought 'WTF'. But now I want a fat Tele for myself! :) Such a cool idea!
You should have made an acoustic electric guitar lol. You gave me an idea haha 😅😆
how did you bring those effects on the guitar body, is it the green screen trick
Super ultra double thumbs up for Andy! A most entertaining process! Best build off videos I've seen! 😃👍
Hum, that guy looked familiar. Give me 60 seconds to cycle through my memory to figure it out.
Wow, I finally understand why you have called the channel TheGuitarGeek 😛 I loved the green screen stuff, that's absolutely ingenious... super creative. The only thing I was confused about was the use of the foam? What purpose did that serve?
Does it feedback much? Being effectively a semihollowish construction, I'd be curious to know.
The ultimate surf guitar feels like a shot at another particular guitar CZcamsr.
I’ve said it before and I’m sure I’ll say it again, if I ever make merch it will only be available in chromakey blue or green! 🤘🏽
True, no one else would do it. That’s because it’s horrendous.
Sharpie pens are the duct tape of the new millennium - sweet vid Andy
Missed the opportunity to make it a hollowbody and add F-holes.
🤘
Supercool 🎉
CRT Telecaster! That is one thicc boi.
All hail PHAT BOI
You could have fed your feed through it and made it look invisible minus the hardware.
I WAS... going do a thumbs down until you put Brian on the screen LOL. I'd like to see his reaction from this 😂 🤣 video. Thumbs up 👍 That was funny 😄
a doublecaster? cool
I hope Kris Barocsi is watching this to get some pro tips! 😆
Why the foam, you had a hollow body tele. LOL
The60cyclegeek?
👍👍
It hurt my soul to watch most of the process. lol But the result was definitely fun. Nicely done.
