- Join me and the guys as we tackle a really nice 3D Archery course located in Batavia, New York. The guys and I meet up at the Sportsman Coon Club and are pleasantly surprised with a beautiful day and a awesome course!

I actually have friends in Batavia. 279 crew. 🤘 Great bunch of guys. I had no idea there were traditional archery enthusiasts in central New York. There's not many places around Syracuse that sell trad recurve bows.
For sure.. there is a good group of guys in Batavia. Also, there is a small traditional Archery 3D shoot I am highlighting at the Avon Bowmen. Trad gear at local archery shops is pretty much impossible to find. At least in N.Y..

I just found this site. Looks like it was a great day. May I ask what you guys use for bows? I have a old Samick Sage which I got new but am hoping to be able to shoot again after a accident.
We are shooting Bear Kodiak and Bear 1959 Kodiak along with Damon Howat Dream Catcher. Also, there is a Browning bow that is essentially a Bear Grizzly. I would suggest you go to a traditional shoot and talk with some guys. The trad guys are very helpful and would even be willing for you to shoot their bows.
