Did we watch the same podcast? Erin is clearly sooo uncomfortable and feels bad, having now watched this I genuinely don't get how people in the comments can't see this. She's talking fast, overexplaining, and making quick jokes to try and lighten the story through wearing down its edges. Not everyone speaks their feelings directly.

He was on Joes podcast and had to make a statement apologizing for getting upset with them. Said several times it wasn’t Erin and Carly’s fault at all. It was sad. Matt is the star of the podcast, he shouldn’t even give them the time of day. They wouldn’t get very many views without him.

Acting like Matt didn’t introduce Rick Glassman to him and he’s there gloating and not saying anything when Erin and Carly are talking about Mike being the BIGGEST FAN, when Mike clearly knows Matt is an even bigger fan than him. Structure and any type of preparation….The last ep had so much potential and was so disappointed at how much of a hard watch it was. :/

I really hope they address the blatant disrespect toward matt seeing how all the comments are on the same side. Their justification was weird on how if Mike was gone they’d do the same thing. Doesn’t make sense. Also the Rick episode in itself was a mess, to not prepare any material when Rick was on or have any sense of flow showed a lot of unprofessional behavior.

The episode with Rick Glassman was hard to listen to. It felt so awkward. I also feel like they full well knew it would hurt Matt’s feeling. But they will justify it away and say it was all in good fun. I don’t understand friends like this.
I guess I understand that having Rick Glassman on while Matt was not there WASN’T supposed to be mean spirited, but the doing it just WAS. I don’t think I would have done that to a friend just out of consideration of how they’d feel knowing they missed out on an opportunity to meet and converse with one of their favorite comedians / podcasters. It just sucks. And the thing is, Matt would not have done that to any of them. I just can’t believe he would. He took this news like a champ, I would have called it a day and gone home lol

Their reasoning behind all of this doesn’t even make any sense either. They keep saying “Oh we would have done it if Mike weren’t here either” so what?! Y’all HAVE to have Rick specifically as a fill in guest? Even if they couldn’t find a guest, they HAD to have someone fill in the empty seat? And then saying “Oh we thought you both liked him equally” so how is that fair for either of them to miss it? And Erin doubling down by not even apologizing just really shows her true colors.
