The wood screw method is my favorite!!!! Does the width of the screw matter?
Tough question, I shall answer this as professionally as possible...the length is more important than width, because if it's too short it may not be enough to pull the cork out. 🍷🍷🤣

I just used the drill and screw method without even looking it up first…that’s called improvising
