Most people will never even have heard his name, must less give him the full credit that he deserves for resurecting Yes from the scrap heap of history (outside of the legacy Yes fans). Do you think that if 90125 wouldn't have been released (or "Love Will Find A Way") that the vast majority of listeners to popular music would have cared about Yes? Trever picked-up that band and NO doubt helped them along their way to fatter pay checks. Andf I say that as a HUGE prog rock fan, and one who knows and understands legacy Yes addicts. But Steve Howe didn't make Yes a household name like Trever did. No comparison. Steve's biggest commercial/household name project was Asia (whom I also love).

+Fabrício Assis MG MTV used to stand for MUSIC... but like everything else, the American dream has become a nightmare. Don't let go of your dreams.

Underrated guitar player where you can hear the important contribution in composition & performance he made to the Band: Yes. Not to take anything away from Stevie How who I classify with the many othet guitar gods of that era including: Jimmy Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn , Steve Morse, Rick Emmit, Steve Hackett, Eddie Van Halen, Robin Trower, Roni Le Teccro, Jimmie Page, David Gilmor, Rich Williams to name a few! No disrespect to those I have not mentioned since there is more you can add to the list.
Today? sigh......they are out there but not as recognized by the Industry as they once were.

He gave them his work in trust and kept getting punched gently. That’s why he left. Man is a sold soul and a beautiful human. He stands with Sting, Gabriel, Prince
He’s a full out musical sentient.
