What is ASMR? ASMR is a tingling sensation often felt on the scalp, neck, shoulders and back, although you may feel tingles in other places as well! ASMR is triggered by different types of stimuli. It can be personal attention, gentle touch, hand movements, crinkling, tapping sounds... there are lots of different types of ASMR triggers and everyone is different when it comes to what triggers their ASMR! My dad passed away 12 days ago after a short hospital stay and I thought this video would be too painful to watch, but it did the complete opposite. It’s like he was your patient, finally feeling better and able to sleep with the utmost care and attention. I finally got some rest from this video and this thought so thank you. More than you know.

I think these nurse exam videos are my favorite - I really like the impersonal "personal attention" type interactions because they feel safe, like it's ok to accept this level of attention.
Totally get that. I feel like many personal attention vids are uncomfortable because it's a form of intimacy that is unknown to me lol
This brought back memories I didn't know I had. When I was twelve, I was in the hospital for about a week with pretty severe pneumonia (I came in with a temperature of 104.8 F). Every night, a nurse would stop in and use a forehead thermometer and do other light check ups. She always encouraged me to go back to sleep, but I enjoyed laying there with my eyes closed while she worked. Her light touches always brought me a sense of peace. Thank you for the role play.

I love these videos. Normally I freak out when it comes to hospitals and doctors in general when I usually have like a doctor appointment or if someone in my family needs to go to the hospital but these videos have a nice calming effect on me.

In videos sometimes where there are multiple doctors and nurses Dr Cozy and Chelsea are always named then Megan the medical student has always had a name and their are some doctors that have names that are brought up rarely in some videos like I remember Dr Sleep and a Doctor with your namesake Dr Rachel but their is always the one nurse without a name sometimes! I would love if you gave her a name!

The sensation test with the pinwheel was the crunchiest most tingly sound I've ever heard omg I need more of it. Lots more! Like a whole video where that sound features heavily. (The squeeking wasn't great but I'm not sure if oil would help that?)
I did try some WD40 but it didn’t seem to help. I’ve tried 5 different pinwheels and they all squeak unless I hit just the right angle so it might just be a design flaw? Tho if you have any suggestions I am willing to try anything to fix it!

i was just hospitalized for a week somewhat recently and this video was oddly comforting thank you! i became so accustomed to the constant routine checks the nurses did on me that i almost miss it in some way? not sure what the logic behind that is but thank you nonetheless for this!

Not sure why asmr artists think TSA pat downs and Hospital role plays are relaxing. The reality is neither are stress relieving.

I have an iron anemia and if my medication doesn’t help me within two months, I have to start on IV infusions. Your videos help me not be so terrified of hospitals and I’m more willing to go in for any kind of outside help instead of trying to cope on my own. Thank you so much 🫶🏻
