This is Westerlands parts 1-4, Tytos, and Tywin (only his time as Warden of the West) put into one video. I tried to blend them the best I could but with my injury it wasn't the best. New videos tomorrow. Icy Hot is the best, btw.

Lann represents that guy who takes pranks too far. And Tommen was about to become Tytos 2.0 when he became King.

I love the poetic justice of Tywin's rudeness to the Martell's. If he had accepted a marriage between Jamie and Elia...Jamie never would have been made kings guard and Elia wouldn't have been free to marry Rhaegar. So really his bitchiness about what his wife had obviously arranged with her close friend turned up coming back to humble him.
I always found it interesting that Tywin would disrespect the memory of his dear wife like that for no apparent reason. It really is poetic justice though because Cersei didn't get Rhaegar, and Aerys continued to mess with him by doing insults like bringing Jaime into the Kingsguard. The Martells also got what he had wanted all along as an even greater insult.

Tywin is infamous for irradiating houses, getting women raped, and killing guests at weddings, all this doesn't take much brain power it is more imagination of how cruel one can be, he was great at being wicked but lacked foresight, actions have consequences. He was building a legacy out of cards not bricks. Refusing Elia was an act of stupidity, she is from a very powerful house considering he married his own cousin he is not one to judge.
Anu It wasn’t out of stupidity that he refused the Martells but actually out of ambition he didn’t want to give his golden heir to the Dornish who were as far south as can be and who didn’t have anything he could use however he wanted Lysa Tully so he could get the Riverlands a fertile and rich land that bordered the Westerlands and from where he could extend his reach all across Westeros since The Riverlands are “In the middle of it all” as Brynden Tully puts it in his own episode about House Tully.
@@maragathm actually with Dorne being largely separated from the Westerlands by the Reach and Dorne not exactly being a trading powerhouse the only real thing to gain from it is the prestige of his kids marrying a form of royalty. Ultimate Lysa Tully would've been a more advantageous match for the Lannisters because of the fertility of their lands, the size of their army and their relatively close proximity to the Westerlands.
@@maragathm also he successfully administered to the realm of Seven Kingdoms for twenty years starting at the age of twenty. That's brain power in spades. Also the houses that he eradicated entered into open rebellion against his family and had enought support to tear the Westerlands apart in starting a civil war. How did Tywin have an army massed so quickly that he was able to blitz them before they could rally their own supporters? One he kept a force of five hundred at arms by tasking his brother Kevan to take them and use them to rid the Westerlands of bandits. And I do believe it's purpose was twofold to actually secure the land from banditry yes but also to give Tywn a pretense to maintain a force in readiness. Tywin learned from the demand for hostages who was willing to side with his family and who was set in their alliance to the Reynes and Tarbecks. So he took his five hundred at ready sent messages to those lords who had proven loyal to House Lannister in the call for hostages and rallied men from their lands. Amassing a sizable army in relative secrecy. Then he called for Lords Reyne and Tarbeck come to Casterly Rock to answer for their crimes. They revolted and declared war on House Lannister. Tywin was in position to spring upon them the moment war was declared and this was how he was able to fall on Lord Tarbek when the man had only his household knights against Tywin's three and a half thousand men. And the Reynes only managed to call a portion of their banners by the time they met with a further reinforced Lannister host of 9,000. That took a large degree of prior planning and an ability to predict how his opponents would respond. I.mea. If they had simply complied and argued their case to Tytos the whole incident could've broke down in a way that would've embarrassed House Lannister yet again.

@@RexOlafusVidulusMagnus technically he never did in both books and show Robb never defeated Tywin in the field. And in the books the only man to ever defeat a Lannister army that was being commanded by Tywin in the field is Edmure Tully.

I know Tywin so evil but the way he commands respect and can control any room while talking is an amazing attribute to have and I admire him and wish to gain that ability one day.
I hope - for your sake - that you are younger then twelve and still have time to learn how to live in reality.

@@toby1061 yeah i see what ur saying, and there is no shame in wanting an ability that you attribute to a fictional character. But I only suggests that modelling your perceptions of how to control a room or be confident on a fantasy figure is a doomed enterprise since it is not possible to reach any sort of affirmation of your success. Instead, modelling such ambitions from real life people and then projecting versions of them on people in your surroundings is a far more easier way to gain confidence, since they can communicate and show emotional response to your words and actions - ak.a giving your own character a sense of value.

I think like you do, drawing logical reason with practicality concluded from the real world and real people. Until I watched my younger brother overcome his crippling depression and extreme social anxiety voyaging strong traits from an anime character. He went from never leaving his room for 8 years, to now living out in SoCal with a beautiful girlfriend and very successful career. You can learn value and meaning from anything.

George likes pulling fun house mirror stuff with actual history. The Lannister might meet the inverse of the fate of their historical counterparts. House Lancaster killed of house York in the male line and assimilated the female line of that house into their own.
