    Good detail on that button redesign! I know the 12 had some complaints with mushy buttons.

    The folio does not have a magnet to keep the case closed. That's a huge let down, especially if you carry cards and cash inside. Everything else feels fine.

    Does anyone know if closing the flap on the Folio case turns off the iPhone screen, like the old Apple one does? Thanks.

    for the car phone mounts that use magsafe, do you think the magnetic connection is strong enough to hold the phone when driving around without the phone falling off? would love to see a video on that

    Would these fit the iPhone 12 Pro Max? I currently have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and I’m planning to upgrade to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I want to use this case for now with the iPhone 12 Pro Max until upgrade to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Please let me know if these fit the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Thanks in advance.

    • @Wallriss

      Different size camera cutout and 13 is a little thicker due to bigger battery etc

  • @christianvilcaromo8415

    No mention of sleep/wake function for folio case ?? Maybe mention as a con ? did notice no folio cases are available for 13 at the Apple Store. Maybe their 11pro max failures made them not have an offer ?

    • @randomrazr
      @randomrazr  Před 2 lety

      apple use to have one but stopped after iphone xs. the iphone screen autmactically turns on when u fling up without a folio or just a simple tapon the screen turns it on. your rigght though technically it would have been a cool addition. their ipad cases i believe does that though

    My fellow Canadian, how much did it cost you to buy the folio?

    • @ScumAndVillains
      @ScumAndVillains Před 2 lety

      It cost me 50-60 dollars. It's worth it to me. But remember there is no magnet to maintain the case closed. It may seem a small detail but it's especially important for a case that allows you to carry cards and cash. Also, use a screen protector to avoid cards scratching your screen.

      I’ve always used Nomad cases & their grip has always been my favorite for cases. It’s why I keep coming back to them. They finally fixed the mushy button disaster, this is easily one of my favorite cases. This & the dbrand Grip.

    Unfortunately, I recently became the owner of this rustic brown leather case for iPhone 13 pro max.
    1. The quality of the leather is good only on the pictures, in real life it looks like cheap fakes from aliexpress with shitty edge trim.
    2. The way "aging" is presented is also marketing nonsense and the cover simply turns into a shabby piece of shit that can leave traces of paint if you hook it with something.
    3. The NSF tag function works with a long delay and the application itself obtrusively asks for money for the "pro version".
    So it has an extremely low quality for such a price, flooded with marketing nonsense. Won't ever recommend it to anyone.

    • @s4mu3lito2
      @s4mu3lito2 Před 2 lety

      What a bullshit, because you had bad experience with this case it does not mean that everything from them is bad. I have i11 case, folio case and airpods case and every piece of them is amazing. So much better than original iphone leather case and in the end the way these cases are ageing is just superb. I would give them 10/10. It is leather so if you have no idea how leather reacts and ages do not write about it.
