I have the same problem as Elizabeth M below. Thermador website says my model number T181D800LP/62 is invalid and will only show me a Bypass Filter device. Can you provide a link to the correct filter for that model? Thx

I am unable to remove the old filter, it will not turn. I have replaced it previously but this time it won't budge. Any advice?
Just use a pair of pliers to turn it loose. Same experience, I replaced it before but suddenly was stuck and wouldn't turn. A pair of hefty pliers did the trick.
When I went to the Thermador site to buy a replacement water filter and typed in my model number, no replacement filters display. Only a water bypass filter seems to be available This has been the case for the past several months. Where can I buy a replacement water filter for the T36BT910NS/03 refrigerator/freezer? @@thermador Hi, My Thermodore did the same when I turned the filter cartridge. I was able to turn it back in and got it to stop. Does the valve get stuck?

I'm not sure why they don't tell you in the video, but the first thing you need to do is shut off the water connection to the icemaker line. Once that's shut off you can remove the water filter with no leaks, install the new one and then theurn the water back on.
