This has really been impactful on me. I have rewatched this episode thrice. I love the composure of Rachael, the happy Rosette and the bitter truth that Pumla and Manuela always point out. I have been struggling with a decision but now I feel I am more empowered to make a choice.

Rachel is sooooooo my twin because eh 🤦🏿♀️ nga I've suffered with "being soft". Goodness 🤦🏿♀️ even my family has always told me that I'm not aggressive enough, my supervisor at work recently told me that I need to develop thick skin because I'm always looking for more peaceful ways to resolve conflict and avoid confrontation at all costs. So many times I have had to find myself trying to morph into a version of who they say I'm capable of becoming, which would then in retrospect propel me to where they think I should be in life and it always backfires, sadly, on me alone and going through the repair and rebuilding always takes alot out of me and I honestly feel lost at this point. I feel like I've allowed so much noise into my life that I've forgotten who I am. I hope to find myself one day. Thank you ladies for always holding space for us, in every way, shape or form in a world where it's so easy to forget oneself.
Wow..this is so relatable! You took the words right out of my mouth..life shapes us and builds that thick skin consciously or unconsciously. It takes a deliberate decision to start looking more inward than outward for validation. It is very liberating. People slowly begin to adjust to the new version of you. Start slowly by setting some boundaries and stick to them.

Rachael was right about personality types, there are people who are not rational, logical in their approach to life and while they will arrive they are wired to sit in their emotions and must marinade in them to go forward! They actually don’t like to be rushed through their emoting process. There is nothing rational about emotions

Last week I was teaching my teenager and preteen about decisions (choices). I told them that sometimes you don’t need to even go to the prayer meeting, if only you made the right decision. And most people are going about from prayer meeting to another because they started off with a bad decision. And coming from me (a prayerer) is such a big one. We must make informed researched well thought out prayed through decisions.

Yesterday my husband told me that iv changed positively wc has given him alot of peace, loved me more and also he feels lyk he owes me alot of his tym, care and a better husband coz of my change.
I also acknowledge that iv changed but i was doing it for my self but little did i knw that it wl positively cbange my marriage.
Iv been able to do all this coz of Allah's guidance and the weekly lessons i learn from u ladies.

I am so multifaceted .I excelled in sciences and went on to become an Engineer but I can also belt a tune to the heavens and run and swim and cook and do everything .One day I want to be a journalist, the next time I want to become a lawyer ,next minute I want to be a doctor .It is so hard to make decisions on where or what to settle for.
