V6AH SIGN-OFF THEME VIDEO PROJECT

Last year Pohnpei Public Broadcasting Corporation (PPBC) with the radio station call sign V6AH, in collaboration with LSC Video Production Company, worked on a project and produced a short video entitled V6AH Sign-On Theme ( / 237099629223411 . The objective of the project was to update V6AH’s audio theme that has been playing and opening the radio station for more than 40 years. The video was released on November 14, 2023. But before the video was released, all cast and crew, including all sponsors, were invited to the Palm Carpet Premiere ( • PALM CARPET PREMIERE O... , which was posted in a Facebook Press Release ( / 729577482616747 , to witness the opening ceremony of and attend the first Palm Carpet Premiere event. The V6AH Sign-On Theme video has been playing and opening the station at 6AM daily since November 15, 2023. This video is expected to be played during the station’s opening hours for many years to come.
Now PPBC is ready for another collaboration with LSC Video Production Company and NAMWEIAS to produce the V6AH Sign-Off Theme video. The Sign-Off Theme video will take the viewers to the Sokehs Rock where the actor will climb the rock and once on top of the rock, he will blow the sowi (conch shell) four times, with the last one facing the West where he kneels and bows right before the sun sets on the horizon. This V6AH Sign-Off Theme video project (teaser video attached) has been awarded to NAMWEIAS to work closely with PPBC and LSC Video Production Company and to oversee the completion of the project.
NAMWEIAS is an NGO established “...for the purpose of documenting Micronesian cultures, traditions and historical events for educational [and other] purposes”. In close collaboration with PPBC and LSC Video Production Company, NAMWEIAS strives to produce another original and captivating video that will be played daily at 10PM to close the V6AH Radio Station for many years to come. The video will also be uploaded to the V6AH CZcams Channel ( / @v6ahpohnpei ) and Facebook Page ( / v6ahpohnpei ) and will be available online indefinitely worldwide.
We write to seek your kind support for the production of the V6AH Sign-Off Theme video. As stated under the sponsorship categories listed below, we seek donations in the amounts of $1,000.00, $2,000.00, $3,000.00, 4,000.00 and $5,000.00.

The same special post/message will be live streamed in social media, broadcasted on air on AM 1449, on FM 88.3, played in FSMTC Cable TV Channel 22, and displayed on the Digital Billboard in Kolonia.
