These products are absolutely amazing! Hoping to have our own review of them soon!
Thanks for the great content Asia!
And ridiculously expensive
Thank you for the installation tips on the Jeep. I was wondering how to put the kitchen sink station on without losing door access on the driver's side. Very helpful.
We travel on a Suzuki Jimny so you can tell this is more than perfect for us!!! Bests regards from a Venezuelan follower in Panama!
Absolutely love this and your video. Thanks 👍🏻🌸
Wow great review love the item and you made the decision very easy to make great job
Another great presentation!
I could definitely use this. Thank you.
THIS is amazing!!!!! I love it. You just saved me space with this product, thank you!. We start our global expedition in Spain this summer and my rig is small.
That's awesome!! Sounds like a fun time!
New subscriber. Enjoyed your content and good overview. Definitely going to consider for my rig!
Love all your content! Hopefully this helps the algorithm 🤙🏻 keep it up!
They are great. We have just the suction cups like you have with the hook but with a D-ring and rigged up a waterport to it for the van.
That’s awesome! Would you mind sharing how you did that??
The tuperware slip was great. So glad you left that in.
But from what I can tell, it looks like it slides in from the backside so if you wanted to remove it you'd have to remove the entire shelf. ?????
Me and my better half love this product and your presentation.
We have subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching more of your content.
If you are ever in the PNW hit us up!
You had me at Trasbag Holder. You thought I was going to say "You had me at hello" didn't ya? 😂 I really love the design and it's usefilness. Job well done Team. Seasucker!
😂
Great review! Fellow Floridian. New subscriber - way to go!
Lol. It’s everything AND the kitchen sink! Thanks for tbe review
Hahahahahaha
Why is it when I watch a new video of yours I feel my purse getting lighter lol. Great video my Guy! This is definitely on my radar of needs.
😂😂😂😂
I have no need of these products, but human ingenuity never ceases to amaze me.
This would be great for my 2 door with limited trunk space for a kitchen setup 👍
This is pretty cool -- I can see these being used on camping tailers
A lot of people use it exactly like that
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing. They Aren't exactly cheap. I'd like to see how compact they get for hauling when not in use. The ingenuity is outrageous.
Def not cheap. And until I've used it for years I don't want to say it's worth it yet. But initial thought, the quality is amazing.
Good is going to my rig! I think about a mobile desk on the go for graphic tablets, computing duties, and cameras 📷
We plan to use these at dog shows and overland but they are useful as an oilfield worker running pipelines. Today we use magnets but more and more items are plastic or aluminum these days.
I always wanted a drawer system for my 4Runner but it is pricey. This looks to have good potential!
Hope you can give us a review later down the road
I def will very soon
Awesome video! Interesting products!
Thanks Marco!!! I own your book!
@@BaptismOverland Wooow!! Thank you!! You Rock!
Thanks so much!! We are huge fans of yours over at SeaSucker! Means a lot.
That’s really cool
Dude this is sick
It really is. I was surprised myself lol
Well done and a giveaway… I missed, nice. 😅
I am thinking about a way to use seasucker on the inside windows of my weekend car camper suv. Great no build set up. Thanks
What a coincidence, I just bought this for the Jeep!
i probably wouldny get this. although it is interesting! but i do love some other products they sell. thankyou for introducing them to me!
Yes. They have a ton of stuff for all the little things!! The kitchen might not be for everyone but there are def some other great components
Yay Florida off-roading! Can you recommend any 4x4 places south of Naples/Boca apart from the tiny area in Bear Island Unit?
Hmmmm. I'll get back to you on that!! We are extending the Florida Adventure Trail to go more south and into key west so I'm sure there will be some paths cutting through Naples!
Great video! Just wanted to throw in 2 cents...you never want to block your access to the driver side. Never know when you need to take off and rush off due to a looming natural disaster or medical emergency. Keep the driver area always accessible with keys on the dash or somewhere visible and known to all parties. 😊
Good point! I can always set up on the other side too.
Setting up on the passenger side will make it hard to access with the rear door open on the Jeep. Should be fine on the 4 runner. Having a gx460, I know the swing doors have limitations.
@@ernestozilberberg257 yep. That's why on the Jeep I'm not using the full kit as I already have a system built out already. Just need some of the components
I wish their unit came w/ hinges that alllow it to fold, that would be a game changer for van life. You can fold it up against the car (indoors or out) when not in use
They will! Spoke to them this weekend. It's in R&D now!
Great video. You didn't have me until the end. Glad I watched it all. Full of features, these look pretty interesting. They would work on a flat sided trailer too.
Absolutely!! We've seen a bunch of folks use it on the flat sided trailer and everyone loves it!!
Subscribed a I have discovered your channel checking out a Yakima kitchen box... awesome value, editing, entertainment, insights, and fun! Love it ❤🎉
Great review. I wonder if this would fit across the passenger side rear of my LJ corner armor. So I could still open the passenger side door. 🤔
As a whole unit idk. It's a pretty long set up. Maybe individual parts
Neat product, but you should do a follow up video in the field. I wonder how well those suction cups will work when the rigs are covered in dirt, dust and/or mud after a long day of off-roading???
I've address that and I def will be. In the video there's two guys you should follow. They tested it on the field after a day of dust and mud. They said it held up awesome.
Could it damage the finish if it’s dirty when attaching this system especially cranking the leveler knob underneath?
I love this idea, my only concern is how well will the suction cups work when your vehicle is covered in trail dust, and then if you put them on with all that dirt is it going to leave scratches.
All I have seen is this product demonstrated on a clean vehicle.
I've addressed that and I've also had friends that have already gone trailing with them. No issues. You just need to wipe down a bit but it doesn't have to be super clean. I will be doing a deeper review next time we hit the trails
My cat has inquired about a couple of suction cups for a cat hammock on the car window... seen on Instagram 😂 this system is great for many uses.
I wonder why they didn't go with a collapsible food container. I have them in all sizes for my home kitchen and pets food. You even dropped the box. It is not pragmatic. A collapsible food tasted box will work wonders. Let'em know, please.
I will!! They might like that!
nice #campkitchen video
You heard me brother , you heard me. Remember I was telling you I like the sea sucker on your expo video
Interesting products, you made a great review! I see one issue tho. If your car is dirty you will have to clean the spots before mounting. Adding additional workload, which might be fine for a weekend trip but not for few weeks long trips. I think pulling out a larger table would be less hassle.
Have a large table that I use from Front Runner that is definitely the go to and holds ALL the heavy stuff. This is more for garbage and dish washing and smaller other items.
@Sebastian
Oh, no. I have to get off my fat, lazy ass and wipe down two areas of my vehicle for suction cups. This is a problem in America. Fat and lazy people who don't want to put any effort into something.
needs a bottle opener on the end of the paper towel holder. Pass it on 👍👍
With the way they think, I'd be surprised if it's not already in the works lol
When will the two suction cups with hooks be available? I need those so I can mount my Trasheroo to my SUV.
I can find out. That would be a good idea!
The bottom rubber support foot needs to have a larger diameter. We can see it bending the door too much. That’s a fatal flaw.
I will relay the info!
Thinking the same, the weight from the food and water on the platform will press into that sheet metal. Maybe the suction cup can be used to pull it back out? 😅
@@so-gshock 😂
HI ASIA 👋
THIS IS PRETTY COOL 😎 SETUP ! JUST NEED TO CAMP NEAR A WATER 💧 SOURCE OR BRING EXTRA FOR CLEANING UP THE SPOT FOR THE EXTRA KITCHEN SPACE . I HAVE A SEASUCKER RACK FOR MY BICYCLE 🚲 & FOR THE FRONT WHEEL IN A CONTAINER ? SOMEWHERE KEEP FORGETTING I HAVE IT . THULE RACKS ON MY TRUCK , IT'S ALWAYS IN FRONT OF ME SO I USE THEM FOR BICYCLES 🚲 🚲 & KAYAK . I'LL BE CHECKING OUT THIS !
BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS ON YOUR ADVENTURES 🙏 THANK YOU 🙏
Does this entire setup fit in any of your Roam cases? Do you suggest any size Roam case that would pack all of these attachments?
It does not unfortunately. I was REALLY hoping it would haha. The smaller pieces will. And if you took out the suction cups it might.
We’ve come a long way from the days of grabbing a cooler and a bag and hitting the road.
I can only imagine the evolution of the paper towel holder another 50 years from now!
Hahaha right?! Big business now. I can still remember the days of taking 30 min to set up a tent
What about when your jeep is dusty. What is the chance the dust ends up scratching the paint. Great concept.
Great question! I will def keep you all posted if I have that issue
When is it NOT dusty and/or muddy???😮
After watching this, I decided to cut a piece of wood in a similar configuration to attach to my vehicle.
Are the suction cups capable of warping the door panels in the long run???
Honestly I don't think so. They've been doing this for marine stuff as well as vehicle bike racks never had issues.
But to play devil's advocate, IF it is capable of doing that with long term usage, keep in mind that this isn't on every day 24 hrs a day. It's only on days we camp. Now they have other components for maxtrax and rotopax that you ride with but even that isn't meant to stay on every day. These are temporary mounts so you can store your items and only suction them on when you go out
No concern of the suction cups not holding as I have their bike rack but I would be concerned on that lower support. Seems a very small area to support all that weight, I’d be concerned of a small dent in the door. I’d feel more comfortable with a third cup.
I actually agree. A third cup for SURE vs a smaller area that can pierce
Can you suction these to inside vehicle windows when stealth camping?
If it can fit. Side note: the small garbage bag holder I have from them I actually suction to the inside window so my son can throw away his candy wrappers and such
When we are out in the Jeep it is always too muddy to utilize a product like this.
As long as you can wash off parts of the areas that get super muddy it'll stick. Just had a few guys from my crew go through the same situation
@@BaptismOverland Ok thanks for the reply.
They need a larger 3rd point of contact, aluminum will dimple VERT easy.
Can I put a coleman grill on the kitchen top?
Personally I wouldn't. It's strong but I don't want any weight that might push the bottom in and dent the vehicle nor would I risk something falling with a hot grill over it. It's made more for cutting and prep not cooking
Great idea. Everything shown , almost $600.
It's def up there yeah
If you need to attach more than one system (cup holders, trash, etc) you obviously need a dedicated portable kitchen sink, you can get more stuff with $350 and I don’t want to cook anywhere near my vehicle paint. Good idea but nah!
Not cooking on this. Lol. This is more extra space than anything else plus sink and trash. I'll still be using my front runner table for cooking and a catch all.
For some reason I can’t find the component with the Tupperware section. Is that still available on the website?
They don't have that anymore because they moved on to V2. Tell you what though...message me on IG and I'll send you mine :) I've never used it.
Does anyone know if this will work on a vehicle that has been raptor lined?
Hmmm I'll find out!
It'll work! You just have to make sure to really wet the vacuum cups before installing!
Where can I get your cool button shirt you’re wearing? Please send me a link thanks!!
@@jpacub1 I'm about to change your life. It's from offthegridsurplus.com
I love this, but it really worries me that it would wrinkle my doors.
Interesting take. You can live vicariously through me and I'll let you know if it does it to mine lol
Put on glass
I wish you showed how it packs when travelling in the car
I haven't because I'm still searching for something that this can fit into. I actually spoke to SeaSucker about creating their own bag for it that will fit it perfectly
@@BaptismOverland thanks, that it what will make or break this.
That trash can inspired me to make one just now. Made it out of PVC pipe. It’s free standing and it holds a 30 gal trash bag. That kitchen is nice but not for me, esp since I run magnetic armor on my 4runner when off road.
it won't be stable enough to chop on. wonder if your door has a dent from the stabilizer.
No dents. And I've chopped on it. But also, when we head out I chop veggies ahead of time at home for less prep work at camp. The quicker we can eat around the fire the better
What kind of camera do you use?
Sony A7IV and ZV-e10 but I sold the ZV and just ordered the FX30
* Lmao...already we down to suction kitchens now?* Lmao😂
At one point someone said "oh we putting tents on our roof now? Lmao." Meanwhile others said, "hmmm interesting. Let me look into it or check it out in person. Might serve me well."
Which camp would you say you belong to?
@BaptismOverland great point. Carry on lol. I will say one thing, it's innovative and looks like quality so I'm sure it will fit the needs for many.
@@steelontarget 😂😂😂
Dude believe me I was sooo skeptical. I had to see it at expo myself. Pretty neat setup honestly .
Any worries abt dents and dings?
Not really and we haven't had issues. But I haven't fully used it yet either
Put a thin silicone pad on the cutting board...
Yep. That would be a good thing to add without putting bulk or bringing a sep cutting board
Good concept but it looks like that little stabilser bar flexes the door too much.
We haven't had problems. Just don't put a TON of weight like a stove lol. Making sandwiches or cutting up veggies all good.
I find it funny how nothing of this is on there site 5 months after this video even!
Really?! I'll double check. They MIGHT have started a diff site for their camp stuff.
@@BaptismOverland I now know why its not turning up. It ask me to go to EU site and its not on the EU site
@@Mrtojo are you in the EU?
@@BaptismOverland yes but now I know! If anyone wanna order it have to be on the US site! Was not looking to buy I wanted to look at the stuff! Thank you for responding!
Maybe portable diesel table setup
Care to elaborate? Like as in for a portable diesel heater?
Are you in D.C.? Cause it's foggy AF LOL
Haha no
It be like that some mornings here cuz we live on the gulf
Hi your set up great😁 save some space an money, check out the the mini camper girl's sink. She is very resourceful.
Will look it up!
Looks like a decent idea. Except once you get to camp, the side of the truck will be covered in dirt.
It's not a problem. :) I addressed that also. Follow @overlanderoos and @sunshinestatevikings. They are releasing a video of their on the field review and the sides of their truck was covered in dirt. It still stuck!!
All you got to do is a quick wipe down to get rid of any noticeable debris! Nothing crazy - even just a damp cloth (or sleeve ha) will do it!
Lol the $$$$
Won't deny its pricey. But I can tell you the quality is there for that cost. Surprised even myself
Everything is American-made! You pay for the quality!
Very innovative pricey?
It's up there yeah
Price is bonkers
Def ain't cheap. Check out the new version. More compact, less parts and comes out to be cheaper
How does this work when the car is dirty, you gotta clean it first don't you?
Yeah but honestly it doesn't have to be super spotless. We found just wiping it down with some water still gives you a strong connection
genius product, but looks very bulky to pack/store
Agreed. Go look at the new video I did for their newer version! Much much much more compact!
Looks lightweight
Very. But strong.
i could use that trash can. i always fight our off brand trasharoo
Maaan who are you telling lol I am sooo done with trasharoo. Pain in the butt to put on and keep tight.
Pounding them in with a mallet is still manually putting them in.
Yep. But good news is their new version which I'll be reviewing in the next few weeks no longer needs to be put together. All modular and easier to transport.
Nice, but that's an insane price at over $500. As much as I waste on other things.. not on a suction cup cutting board.
The kitchen 2.0 was released this year and I'm actually putting up a video this week on it. It's a bit easier on the wallet due to how the components are sold. Stay tuned.
But for the record I agree with you. Def not cheap.
until it puts a dent on your door lol
I'll let you know if it does
Sell sell sell.
Well they're selling alright lol
oh come on your roof rack is only 4 inches above where those suction cups are, can't you just put a couple hooks on that?
That's how I had it set up before but now the awning gets in the way when it's deployed. Can't do it on the other side because that's where the entrance to tent is. Can't do it in the back because then I can't open the tailgate window. Relax. I've probably tried more options to hang this than you'll ever know lol
@@BaptismOverland fair enough, I don't see an awning in the video but that makes sense if it gets in the way. 👍
@@KSullan I have the quick release awning setup :) It allows me to store the awning in the garage when not in use. But yeah, I use to set it up on the rack before and then the awning came on. Then I was sandwiching it with the windows. I've tried it all lol
Using suction cups with a continuously dirty and dusty vehicle is not a great idea. The next problem is that the "leveling" will easily dent the metal of the car with the slightest accidental load. A simple table is A LOT less problematic in every single way. And while this reviews super nice, modular systems like this are a pain in the rear to use in the real world. By the time this is set up, every "normal person" with a simple setup has already washed the dishes, even if it is just the same pop-out sink on the ground. Oh, and for the utensils, a simple eye-bolt on your roof rack would be a lot less hassle as well.
We've already had guys use it. And both of their wives said they'll never leave without it again. They haven't had any issues and they kept things light as to not dent the vehicle when leveling. I'll give a long term review if those problems arise
@@BaptismOverland Sure. Whatever works for you.
*3:35** do you put a cutting board on your cutting board at home? Don't be a Lady Boy!*
😂 of all the things someone can comment on. I'm guessing you just NEEDED to comment. But that's ok. And hey, it's what even SeaSucker recommended. So if the company says it's the best way to use it then so be it but feel free to buy one and use it how you like bud
Sorry $349.00 USD to much money.
True. But building a kitchen setup or hell, buying a drawer system, is in the thousands. For those that want portability and having a whole kitchen, $350 ain't that bad. Considering people are buying Maxtrax for that amount and they never even use it haha
You get what you pay for. Maybe someone will make a knock off version some day. I’m sure they’ll use lower quality parts, won’t be a well thought out, but will probably be cheaper.
@@fpartidafpartida That part. That's always the progression.
For all of it now is almost $600
Yeah. Very cool but WAY too expensive. It’s easy to vouch for these products when you’re partnered with the companies that make ‘em and you received ‘em for free. Appreciate the video and the insight though!
that leveler is gonna dent your rig...
Well it hasn't yet and I've used it since this video has come out. Just don't put anything heavy (it's not meant to hold heavy stuff anyway. Just for food prep.) It ain't like I'm putting my fridge on this lol
Do you have one? Did the leveler dent your rig? Have you seen this in person yet? Legit asking because it's really not heavy at all...not enough to dent a rig at least
@@BaptismOverland no not yet I was about to click on buy when I saw you using the leveler and it was poking into the side panel of the car door and I saw it was pushing in. That is what caused the concern. Not all cars have thick panels. Because if we cut meats or have cutting boards sometimes we may encounter a hard to cut portion and will use more force downward, and I was afraid it will push in deep with the leveler on causing a dent.
@@sytwang ah gotcha. Honestly it's light. And the suction cups do most the work to be honest. That leveler just kinda helps dial in the level. It's not load bearing. Again just for your basic food prep and light items, it'll be ok. Even with thinner panels.
(Just to be safe though, this is where I should also mention that buyer assumes all risk and Baptism Overland is not responsible for any damages caused by the product or the user of this product 😂)
I think it'll be fine.
Goddamn Influencers! Your part of of the problem not the solution.
Why? Did we put a gun to your head and make you spend money? Because without "influencers" (whatever THAT means) then you wouldn't even be seeing this video. But you did. Because you're perusing for ideas or wanting to get ideas for your own setup before you buy anything. And that's what we contribute. You can then decided for YOURSELF if it's something you want or not. So, really, you've already contradicted yourself by watching this video because if you don't like "influencers" then you wouldn't even be watching videos like this am I right? Make it make sense man.
I honestly can not see any real adventurer using this. A simple table will work 100% of the time and probably much cheaper.
I think a "real adventurer" (whatever that might mean to you) will always prepare for the mission at hand with whatever they feel is necessary. Some people don't have a full set up and a table might not always suffice (also have you ever tried setting up a table in areas where the ground just isn't level?) I know a couple guys in Australia and the UK who basically lives on the road that wants this for their setup.
Prepare the way you need to man. My job is to show people different products that are out there so people can decide if it's for them. Might not be for you. Doesn't make others any less of a "real" adventurer
@@BaptismOverland this is a solution looking for a problem. You can't drive away, you have to stay by the car. And if your car is dirty, which it should be if you're off road, the auction might not work.
@@silvere36 Ok so I'll address each:
If you have to drive away, you can't: How is that different from deploying our roof top tents or awnings? Those have to be put away also.
If your rig is dirty: I spoke about that in the video. I also have two guys who already used this off-road and they got dirty and muddy'd up on the GA Traverse. They said it still stuck. They just had to clear the dirt a bit (which can be done with a sprayer like a water port). Doesn't have to be fully clean.
@@BaptismOverland point #1 is reaching. Not everyone uses RTT or awning. If you have passengers and they want to stick around and eat or party but you need to go somewhere else, you're stuck. This product is just more trouble than it's worth. The only thing I see that adds to to the adventure experience is possibly the cool factor. It's just so limiting. I wouldn't want to cook on it because it's so close to the car. I would be afraid it might fall off. It could scratch the paint, etc. A table is so much more fail safe and versatile.
@@silvere36 I wouldn't cook on it either. This is food "prep"...having extra space. Having a spot to wash dishes. Having a garbage close by.
And you're just proving my point man. Not everyone has an RTT or awning. Absolutely! So as I mentioned, it's a product for some and not for others. Doesn't work for you. Cool! Run the setup that WORKS FOR YOU. But to use the word "real adventurer." Like what does that even MEAN? 😂
This is the most over and under designed piece of plastic I've ever seen. They had so many chances to make this perfect but they chose cost cutting at every corner ...and then charged way too much!
New version is out that actually works better. I have a video coming out on it to show if it's worth it. Stay tuned.
yeap it sucks
Sure does!
