- The further south we go, the hotter it’s getting and our AC is not up to the challenge! Join us this week as we explore the incredible 11th Century city of Ait Benhaddou and find two almost deserted desert campsites!

Hello to you all from : Richmond Virginia .

Yes thinks
y're welcome in morocco .....thank you for your nice words about morocco ...lovely family...be careful the moroccan desert is too hot in this moment
Thank you so much! We looooove Morocco!
As Moroccan living in France, I advise you and everyone who want to visit specially south and south-east Morocco to choose any time of year except summer. In summer, you can visit north morocco, it has the same climate as Europe. Or south-west morocco where you can find beautiful beaches, more than 200 or 300 km of beaches from Essaouira to Sidi Efni. But the south of Morocco is very special to be honest because it's the origin of the most powerful Moroccan dynasties (Almoravids, Almohads and Saadis ) that ruled over all North Africa (from Marrakesh to the borders of Egypt to the east and from half north of Iberian Peninsula to Senegal and Mali" Moroccan Sudan" to the south. With Marrakesh as capital) so when you go there you will find a lot of historical monuments, fortification cities and villages ...
We loved our visit!!
Your little boy is just adorabl❤❤

Hey the lovely British family ! From Ouarzazate, you should have gone West towards the amaizinz Atlantic Ocean ! Your sons would have enjoyed TAGHAZOUT, IMESSOUANE ....and you absolutly have to visit ESSAOUIRA: Enjoy Morocco and have a safe drive :)

Hi Steve&Lynds
Having found youre You Tube channel last week I have been Binging on all the videos since especially Morocco which I am finding fantastic. You’re presentation is so professional and slick.
Please keep the excellent work still coming as I try to catch up on all the other previous videos as well.
Steve H
Welcome along Steve!! Thank you for your kind words x
What a fantastic adventure you are having albeit a little ‘warm’. It’s Sunday 27th today and we have a balmy 17 degrees. The Dutch Grand Prix is on the telly and it’s pouring down. Safe travels and hope the aircon stops you all from melting (when it’s working again) 👏👏👍
Thank you so much x
Welkome in marokko❤❤❤
It s an amazing video
Salam from switzerland
Thank you x
Great adventures
Thanks Denise x
Oh dear Morocco in the summer 😮
It’s amazing!
thanks again I like it when you give all the information out like fuel prices and the prices of the campsite it is interesting the fuel in the UK has gone up 1.55 round here 1.44 Costco you're some information for you 👍
Thank you
Thanks for visiting Morocco, you guys placing Morocco on a higher level. Thank you so much and I love you enjoying you trips.
Ahh thank you so much xxx we love it!
You should all invest in neck fans for walking around. They are brilliant. Anyway on to your awesome trip, that house seemed to go on and on, lovely to see how they live xx
🤣🤣🤣
Great adventures love your videos. P R🚌
Thank you x
Nothing to do with bravery on an overloaded lorry overtake on a bend !
Sheer good driving experience.
Common sense as well 😊
Happy travels 😊❤
Great video, thanks for the share.
Thank YOU!
Thanks for watching!
Loved it so late watching have covid and poorly 😢
Oh no Gaynor, hope you feel better soon x
Interesting video lyndsey and Steve hope you can sort out your air con with that heat
Thank you x
I live just next door to Morocco and never been inshallah one day I am in algeria
😘
You should visit the North coast near tetouan its so beautiful
This heat that you live in Ouarzazate, and although you cannot bear it, is healthy for you, as it removes the unhealthy coldness from the body.
مرحبا بكم في المغرب
Good ❤
Thanks ✌
Fantastic adventure for all the family. Thank you, as always, for sharing xx
Thanks Isobel x
I know that camping well always stopping over night on our way up and down to Zagora where we stayed 2 months each year.
Go to Oasis Palmier outside of Zagora over the bridge.
If you want a drink in a lovely place go to La Fibule hotel near by.Enjoy yourselves.
Ooooh thank you x
Short solution spray water on top of your vehicle and the surrounding… real solution would be communication to camp owner to get you ac mechanic or reaching out to your British community ( some brits are very rich and can get you all the help you need )
What an amazing adventure!!
Have you seen the goats in the trees yet? Hilarious 😂
No! I think they are down towards Agadir!
Great video guys, imagine working in that heat! We pulled out of Ouarzazate in early 2012 due to the so-called Arab Spring. There was a lot of ill feeling about the Noor Ouarzazate Solar Complex by the protesters in Morocco at the time, and the security clampdown was scary to say the least. We had no idea how it would end, so it was a no-brainer to call it a day. After the protests died down, the project started up again but after repeated invitations for us to return, we decided against it. At least you have seen the area, and visited the Atlas Corporation Studios, well done for putting up with the heat with the broken A/C. Have a safe trip home! 👍👍👏👏🌞🔥
Thanks John!
Great video guys sorry to see the motorhome is having problems with your air conditioning unit hope it's not badly damaged or broken due to the heat and temperatures hope you are all ok and well and it looks absolutely fantastic in Africa have a fantastic time guys I have been loving this amazing holiday series it's been a experience to never forget thank you Steve and Lyndsley love the work that you do for us stay safe and enjoy the rest of your holiday!
Thanks James
Brilliant as usual. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you for watching x
Amazing. Such a wonderful experience, for you and us, thank you. Stay safe. 😘💚
Thanks Emma x
I’ve been enjoying your travels through Morocco, your videos are very informative and have answered lots of questions I’d had.
I’d love to come with our caravan, but has read larger caravans might be tricky… we’ve got an Airstream that’s 2.5 metres wide (8 ft) and 8.25 metres long, do you think it would be a problem?
Safe travels and look forward to the rest of your adventure.
Amazing editing, guys! More entertaining than anything on TV
Thank you so much x
Agadir is worth visiting. The Florida of Morocco
Another trip!
The aircon should have been able to handle the heat, my 15000 btu version does a great job in my RV even at 45c if you are running it when driving can cause brown out and or undercurrent conditions which will eventually cause the compressor to fail, thats why we have generators in our RV's here in the states, enjoy your videos
It’s fine again now, thankfully. We will get it serviced when we get home.
Another fantastic Moroccan series vlog from you guys! Always such interesting content👍
With the dusty conditions you’ve been driving through I wonder if your air con problem could be due to a blocked filter in the air con unit somewhere? I’m no air con guru but just a thought lol.
It seems ok again now, but we will get it serviced when we get back.
Interesting. I have the same aircon unit and manage to keep internal temps of 20c with 42c externally 🥶 I think it depends if you can find any shade
Steve make sure all your water is topped up mate maybe that has something to do with it ? Does it need water 💦 like a car not sure 🙈
Thanks for another fantastic video this channel and family of yours is so brilliant ❤
Thank you x
It seems ok again now.
Looked nice and toasty 🥵👍💙❤️
Hot hot 🥵
Haven't you got a thermal screen to keep the van cooler and would protect the dash from that heat.
Don't worry you'll soo cool off when you get home😂😂😂 safe travelling home guys xx
It’s at home, it’s bulky when all 5 are f us are travelling together.
What an amazing adventure!
It is!! Thank you x
Really enjoying the series guys👍
Thank you x
So loving your adventures, a little bit different from our usual trips but so inspirational, keep it up folks, hope you get the air on working….😊
Ahhh thank you so much!
Regards the heat at over 40 degrees
My late father did his 2 years National Service (1952-54) in the Army as Sergeant stationed out in Benghazi, Libya but he said although it was 40 degrees it was a dry heat
Another great video showing us the camp sites and those homes of people - another world
🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴❤️❤️👍
Thank you!
It is interesting to see the scenery change as you progress.
Isn’t it! So stunning and so complex!
Lovely video as always 😊
Thank you xxxx
@RoamingRadfords Try an airconditionner specialist in one of the big cities, they should be able to top of with coolant or fix any issues it'll make your trip 10 times more enjoyable. Hopefully you enjoy it despitew the heat you guys are really smthg to try durimg the summer haha
It’s ok again now, we will get it serviced when we get home.
It’s ok for now, but we will get it serviced when we get home x
Great video. Good luck with the AC and those temperatures
Thank you!
lol, what no vosa checks for wagons . lol cool video again, how did the van cope with stone chips ??
No stone chips!
Your A/C will probably have the condenser (same as a radiator) blocked with dust, and has cut out on the High pressure switch, so the coil has to be cleaned (with air) that is hopefully fixed.
It seems ok again now, but we will get it serviced when we get back!
welcome to Morocco, I hope you are having a great time here, I have a question about the Starlink I didn't know it works in Morocco, can you tell me the speed of the internet? (upload and download)
It varies massively but I do update you to how it’s working in some of the videos
Thank you for your vlogs
Jamal uk
Thanks Jamal x
Great video guys, I love Morocco 😊.
Do you have the roaming starlink or are you managing with a base version?
We have the standard Starlink on the Mobile Global subscription plan
@@RoamingRadfords thanks. We're thinking of getting a mobile to use at home as well. Virtually no mobile signal here in our bit of the Dordogne and orange us soooo slow as no fibre yet!
think a/c short off gas probably iced up
make sure filter clean and condenser not full off dust
hose out with water
It’s working fine again now, we will get it serviced when we get home.
Did Truma use the compact diffuser for your Aventa Comfort? :)
Well spotted Jay. Yes we had Truma install it and he gave us the option for the smaller compact diffuser, and we never used the light on our other one so went for it and we think it looks better too
I hope your air con gets sorted.
What are you using to find the campsites? As we are going in January
Park4Night, SearchforSites and Google. I’m putting all our sites on the Maps page of our Roaming Radfords website.
@@RoamingRadfords thank you
I think there’s a reason why the campsite is empty 😮 that summer heat is too much but you know what they say about mad dogs and Englishmen 🤣🤣 Great Vlog well done, you are pushing boundaries which is what we all love to watch on your channel 👍🏻🚐💙 Trev n Sue
Thanks Trev, that really means a lot xx
Great another two camp sites for me to visit but I’ll wait till the temperature cools down
As Moroccan living in France, I advise you and everyone who want to visit specially south and south-east Morocco to choose any time of year except summer. In summer, you can visit north morocco, it has the same climate as Europe. Or south-west morocco where you can find beautiful beaches, more than 200 or 300 km of beaches from Essaouira to Sidi Efni. It’s wonderful!
frustrating you fit AC to cool the van down in hot climate . either not fit for purpose or need regassing.
The hotel La Fibule has a pool.
Next time!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
😍😍😍
Don't you use a thermal screen, that would keep the heat back big time! Keep the dash out of the sun.
Safe travelling home guys, you'll soon cool off when you get back home😂😂😂
The screen is at home as it’s bulky Whenwe are travelling as a group of 5
Poubelle doesn’t mean potable, it means dustbin!
Possibly the issue with the A/C is that it is a European unit designed to handle temperatures in Europe etc. When I was on detachment in Kuwait the vehicles had two levels of A/C and the second was ice cold designed to meet the local temps. Have a look at the spec sheet.
It’s working ok now in “normal hot” temperatures!
Definite possibility your aircon has some form of filtration, have you checked it.
Yes, it seems ok now. But we will get it serviced when we get home x
Yes, and it’s ok again for now! We will het it serviced when we get home x
Great trip but don't know how you cope with 40-45°🥵. It would finish me. I live in SA and battle with 30-35° 😁
It’s very hot!
Hi guys! Great vlog, so interesting to someone who has never visited this part of the world. I hope the A/C can be sorted, perhaps dust /sand in filter? Thanks for sharing , look forward to the next one 👍👍👍 xx
Thanks Sue x

I appreciate very well your trip around Morocco since you took the ferry from Spain, and I love you love Morocco, to help you guys phonetically pronounce the city where you are in this video, I will write it the English way : War•za•zate. Unfortunately, it is written in the french way which made it awkward to utter. Have fun and nice trip.
Thank you x
great vlog
Thank you x
Might need the aircon topping up with coolant considering the heat and how much you have been running it.
Thank you x
🌹🌹🌹❤❤❤🇲🇦👍👍🌷
🇺🇸👑🇲🇦 MORROCO 🌹👍🏻
😍😍😍
Get some mint or lemon tea if the chance arises! The lemon tea especially, ‘Chay limoon’. Delicious and refreshing.
We love mint tea!
❤️🇲🇦❤️
😊😊😊
@@RoamingRadfords welcom to morocco🌹
Hi guys does your air con filters need cleaning or does it need draining .Great watch keep up the brilliant channel.pjgxx
I was going to say the same, especially driving in dusty conditions
It’s seems to be ok now we are in temperatures lower than hell itself!
Air con filters need cleaning every 100 hours of use depending on machine
Your ac filter might be clogged up with sand it might need cleaning out as your in a very sandy place it cloggs the filter
Thank you, it seems to be working again now x
😊great locations i wish we had a heatwave nothing but rain here in Manchester
😊😊😊
😊😊😊
The green stuff is camel food . . . .
While using the ac in the middle East...we had to every now an then switch it off to allow it to defrost as the fins on the unit would block up with ice reducing airflow ....ice collects due to constant use...the unit will be working overtime to cool the van ... 1 hour later all good 👍 ❤😂......472 billion degrees v brittish aircon 😅
I agree..
We had the same problem here going through Illinois in the August, it kept freezing up. I learned to turn it off every chance I could. You would know when its thawing because of the huge amount of water coming from the unit.
Good luck.
🤣🤣🤣
Is the AC run off lithium batteries?.I had problem with a hybrid car.Apparently its not be run enough or changed enough. But someone in the commets section said it could be the climate That could be a possibility..?
It’s working ok now we are in “regular heat”!
Food was delicious but we’ve all got dodgy tummies🤢
Could have been water, ice, touching a door handle… anything really.
Still only 19* in Mk 😂
We’ll try bring some sunshine back!
@@RoamingRadfords be nice , although we are off to Scotland for a wedding then spain. fingers crossed should be warm at o e of them lol.
