"Seven Nation Army" is a song by American rock duo the White Stripes. It is the opening track on their fourth studio album, Elephant (2003). V2 Records released the song to American alternative radio on February 17, 2003, as the lead single from the album. Worldwide, the single was issued through XL Recordings. Written and produced by Jack White, the song consists of distorted vocals, a simple drumbeat, and a bass-like riff created by playing a guitar through a pitch shift effect.
The song charted in multiple countries, and its success contributed to the popularity of the White Stripes and the garage rock revival movement. In addition to praising its riff and drumbeat, critics have ranked "Seven Nation Army" as one of the best songs of the 2000s decade. Lol, it's pretty cool, and a lot of work. I seen what it took for one middle school music department to put together a strings concert where the kids played this song.... They actually did amazing! They had some help from a few of the High school kids (especially drums) & pulled it off very well.
It was the last year my son played the cello, sadly. I'm glad it ended on pretty cool note, he wanted to play like The Two Cellos some day 😉😂 Ultimately, he decided to trade in his cello for football cleats. His HS band is pretty well known and practice even more then the football team & often at the same time.

having all the drummers on a click track(tge headphones on most of them) helps keep that baseline for all other musicians to use to help keep in sync making all alot better and easier for everyone to be In time. even if you might have a little trouble hearing the drummers you can FEEL that beat.
